Meanwhile outside of the door Matteo could hear them jumping and crying he picked up his phone dialing Dominco's number, "What's up!" Dominco asked after picking on the first ring,he had been waiting for Matteo's call, "It's positive sir,she's with child!" Matteo said to him, Dominco who didn't want another child,his stomach got swamped with butterflies as he was happy, "Bring them home right away,and if anything happens to them, especially my girl,I'd have your head for breakfast!" With that Dominco ended the call, shaking his head Matteo knew he couldn't let anything happen since his destruction was also with them.

"You wanted me in a cage, Dominic. Why help me now?" Dominic looked at me, and for a moment, the mask of the cold mafia boss slipped. I saw the man who had lost his empire, his family, and his pride. "Because a king without a kingdom is nothing," he whispered. "But a man without his soul is even less. You aren't my wife anymore, Sienna. You’re something far more terrifying. And I’d rather watch you burn them down than see them turn you into a statistic." He reached into his coat and pulled out a small, encrypted tablet. He slid it across the concrete floor toward me.

Dominic turned, his eyes locking onto the rows of staff still frozen in their seats. "All of you, stay where you are!" Dominic commanded, his expression shifting drastically—cold and predatory. He walked slowly around the conference table, creating a suffocating tension. "Tell me... who among you knows what truly happened at the third branch office? Speak now, and I might consider letting you off if you cooperate," Dominic said in a low, menacing voice. "Don’t make me find the extent of your involvement myself." ***

My voice came out higher than I intended. Of course I knew the name. Everyone did. Dominico Moretti, the Don of the Moretti Syndicate, one of the most feared crime bosses in Mexico. They said he'd killed men without blinking. That he tortured his enemies when he wanted to make an example of them. That once someone crossed him, there was no place on earth far enough to hide. And yet, for a man whose name carried so much fear, almost nobody had actually seen him. Photographs of him were nearly impossible to find. To the public, Dominico Moretti was little more than a shadow with a reputation. A ghost people were terrified to meet.

“Damien—‘’ I didn’t allow her to complete the words before leaning closer, claiming her lips before she could refuse. She stayed still for me, a single tear running down her cheek while I claimed her lips like they were all I needed. And yes, they were. The room dropped a few degrees, and Matteo’s friends instantly straightened on their seats, their arrogant expressions completely dissipating at Dominic’s commanding presence. “Matteo? What are you doing?” He asked, his tone almost sounding bored as he stepped further into the room. “Ah, Dom! You’re here,” Matteo chuckled as he zipped up his pants and turned to Dominic. “Just trying to have some fun with this piccola puttana. She’s quite a looker, isn’t she?” Dominic grunted as he strode towards the main leather couch across from us and took a seat. His broad shoulders were relaxed, but there was something threatening about his gaze as he rubbed his fists and stared at my kneeling form.

“Paperwork’s been prepped and signed for weeks. I figured you’d try to sink the ship, what you didn’t expect is that I rebuilt the entire foundation with someone far more competent by my side. As you might know, the last thing that I would want is to find myself lead into something that I do not want to cope with. And mind you, there are closures that you're going to need to pay. If you think that we are going to end this with me being financially affected, then you are very wrong. Your lawyers should explain this to you. Mine will attend the meeting as well. Things will be settled. If you want us to be there to sign papers, we are more than welcome. Otherwise we have other things to take ca
