But I don’t stop drinking. I empty the bottle, letting it fall when I’m done. Or did it slip from my hand? I wasn’t sure what actually happened, I just knew I heard the soft thud of it colliding with the floor. The ground shifts beneath me, this time, I’m not so quick to grab onto something and I feel myself falling to the ground. My arm protectively wrap around my bump. The fall is never-ending. I saw her watching me fall with her cold eyes and emotionless face. I keep on falling like I was falling from a very tall building. The pressure is pulling me down. I froze, and with that tension in my body I felt my arms start to give out and my hands slip. “Okay, okay!” Clare was saying below me. “Just a few more inches down, and then tuck your knees and fall.
