It swallowed. It drank the fire. Its stomach glowed orange for a second, then faded back to gray. It licked its lips. "MORE," a voice hissed from inside the beast. Not the Beast's voice. The voice of the Skeleton in the deep. The Beast clamped its jaws shut. My hands were inside.
