The heat of his touch was searing, shocking through the thin silk of my dress. "Enough," Draco growled. The sound was deep, vibrating against my back as he effortlessly hoisted me over his shoulder as if I weighed nothing more than a feather. The world tilted violently... the room, the brothers, the opulent lighting all spinning into a blur. "Draco!" Daemon laughed, though there was a frantic edge of surprise in his tone. "Don't be such a miserable bastard. She was just getting to the fun part." "I am finished with the pleasantries," Draco bit out, his voice a low, terrifying rasp that sent a jolt of genuine fear... and something far more complicated, straight to my core.

The girl who had reached out her hand was standing exactly where she had been standing, frozen, her sleeve already smoking, her mouth open. She was going to die. Something in my body unstuck. Crossing the floor was a blur. My arm hooked under hers, her breath was wet against my shoulder, the heat came through the side of my dress. I dragged her sideways into the cleared edge of the chamber and shoved her down behind a low stone trough. Then the dragon saw me. Its head came up off the floor. The yellow eyes locked on mine, and for one long second the chamber went still. Even the fire seemed to hold itself in place.

I raise my shoulders at her. "You met him already? Who is it? Wait, I don't understand. That asshole cheated on you?" Jodie went from happy to murder in five seconds. "Jeez, relax. I guess, I did meet him. I have no idea who it is. My mother says that my dragon will tell me. She just hasn't spoken to me yet." I place my hands on her shoulders and pushed her out the door. "It kind of makes sense why your dragon hasn't spoken to you. We get our dragons young, so they learn and grow with us. At this stage, your dragon is still a baby. I think she still has to learn to talk I guess." I look at her in utter disbelief.

He flipped them with her underneath him and he buried himself deep inside her, even before she could understand what's happening. "Drake" she moaned loudly. He kissed her deeply, all the while moving inside her wet heat. Nyra kissed him back with every memory that returned and began to move her hips in response to his thrusts. Draco took over and the thrusts became fast and his eyes darkened. He flipped her onto her hand and knees and buried deep inside her heat, much deeper than before, and started pounding into her. Draco missed being with his mate. He came out once, when they took her the first time and he came out now, when their mate ready for them.

Aspen says. “I feel the same way, Aspen. I am in love with you. I have known since the day in the water that you were the one for me,” I say. Draco spoils our tender moment as he comes back into the room. “If you two are through with this moment you are having, we need to work out a plan to go get Deanne; come on. Erada glanced at Draco and Venom and she wondered why the tension in the room was suddenly so thick, she cleared her throat.

“Damon never treated me like his mate. I was nothing more than a pawn to him. With you? I’ll be everything.” Draco grinned like a fool, tapping ash into the tray. “Careful now, Kitten. You’re starting to sound like you actually love me.” “Maybe I do,” she murmured with a wicked smile. “Or maybe I just love power. Either way… you and I want the same thing.” There was another stint of silence between them, then Draco finally laughed out loud. “By the gods, I've missed you, Nyla.” Nyla’s smile was slow, predatory. “Then don’t miss me anymore, Draco Grey. Stay here and take what’s yours… With me.”

“Wait, so… you accept me?” I asked him just to be sure. “Hermione.” That was the second time he called me by my name. He was staring at me and I thought I was going to drown in those hazel eyes. “There is no other way to solve this.” He looked away and sipped from his straw. “Besides, it would be like taking a candy from a baby. At least for Derrick.” He snorted and I frowned. “So you are only doing this to get to Derrick?” I was crushed. Hector is an ass. Why would he think doing these things is fun?
