Drops Of God Novels & Stories

I couldn't believe I was tricked, and all this sham about a goddess I didn't believe in had made me a fugitive. Tears started pooling in my eyes as I stared at both the stranger and the orb I had placed on his chest. I wanted to remove it, but I prayed for the last time that this thing might work on him. My faith in the entire thing was very little, but I hoped that Goddess Natalí heard my plea as I placed it back with a small prayer. My tears dropped on the orb, and before my eyes, it started melting while shining brightly. It became a liquid substance and wrapped itself around my fingers like a cat demanding attention from its owner.

“At least seven high-tier gods have crossed the threshold. Their power is diminished, but don’t be fooled, each one can still erase a city.” Lyra didn’t look away from the sky. “Then we don’t let them gather.” The boy drew his blade fully now. It no longer glowed softly, it burned. “Pick a target.” A colossal figure descended directly ahead of them, slamming into the shattered plain in a cyclone of dust and molten rock. When the smoke cleared, the god stood revealed, tall, skeletal, armored in cracked obsidian, six broken wings dragging behind it. Its voice echoed like grinding mountains. “Dream-Bearer. Child of the Fold. Fallen One.”

Waterfalls of liquid light descend from invisible heights, forming quiet pools where memories and possible futures float like leaves on still water. Just then, his grandmother walks in. She was clad in all white, despite her grey hair she had a young appearance. Kind sparkling eyes and a warm smile. “Why do you look so troubled, my dear?.” “I have no time for your questions, Nana Lulu.” He snapped. “The only thing that can make you visible to the human eye is the celestial god's gold elixir.” He looked at her, he was all ears, she had caught his attention. “Seems like you want to try it out. I see….

The storm mirrored my turmoil, and for a moment, I wondered if the world outside could sense my inner chaos. “At whom would the Goddess be angry?” I muttered as I watched the downpour. Huge drops of rain splattered on the balcony—it was magical. I could see them as individual drops fell from the sky, each looking different from the other. I could hear each drop hit the floor, like a sweet melody only I could hear.

My pupils widened when it moved on its own. The thick black shaft gave one slow, heavy twitch right in front of my face. It was so close I could feel the heat coming off it, like a living thing breathing against my skin. The skin looked impossibly smooth, stretched tight over all that hardness, deep dark brown, almost black, shining a little under the light. Right at the fat, swollen tip there was that small slit, pale inside like a secret mouth, already leaking one clear drop that hung there, trembling, ready to fall. I wanted to catch it with my tongue before it dropped.

My scarred, burned flesh met his calloused, unyielding grip. "Then grab your shovels, Corren," I said, my voice carrying across the silent, waiting plaza. "We have forty-nine anchors to drop. And we are not stopping until the whole world beats as one." Chapter 111: The Descent of the First There is a terrifying intimacy in digging your own salvation out of the dirt.

The good kneeled by me. "But you will never taste her blood again!" He stated. Another blow of the knife hit my thigh, tearing the muscles in pieces. "Nor will you ever taste anyone's blood ever again," the god continued. "I don't even need these chains in order to kill you! " He concluded snuggly. Enosos nodded to the guards behind him and they immediately let go of the chains. A second later the god released the chains from Cain's body, with the flick of his wrist.

He collects enough of his blood and then he resumes the ancient chanting. The blood starts rising from the goblet and separates into a hundred tiny droplets. The blood droplets start moving toward the mutants. Each droplet goes straight to each mutant. We are all gobsmacked, to say the least. Everyone has their mouth gaped at this moment. As the droplets approach the mutants, their brows have a small ray of light. Harold snaps his fingers and hollers at us. "Mother, Summer, Apollo, Mtungagore, Now!"

one of the energy entities said. - Alicia? Alexei replied. "Right, Well, we wanted to show you God. You see him in front of you, he is part of us, he is part of you. God is everywhere. Alexei said in surprise.
