Her face lost its color, her breath hitched with barely contained fury. When she finally spoke, her words were laced with venom. "Bastian, what game are you playing? Why do you call that homewrecker your Luna?!"
Her body shook with anger as she spat out her accusations. "Did you not tell me that the mate bond was a trivial thing? That once you solidified your rule, you would mark me as your true mate?"
Her voice broke, her composure crumbling. "We have a pup together, and now—before the entire pack—you kneel for her?"
