“I told you to stop at two,” he laughs at my pain. Since I’m in control of my body at the moment, he isn’t feeling even the least bit hungover. I threaten to shift just to make a point and he shuts up.
Gideon, Barry and I had spent all night playing poker in my living room and now I’m feeling the consequences of drinking sasquatch ale. Apparently, Barry’s friend, Susan, works with the local brewery and has helped them create a draft strong enough to down a full-grown Bigfoot, and also does a good job of knocking down a full-grown werewolf as well. Poor Gideon with his witch metabolism is a little better than a human in these situations.
