Ella POV Alexander and I entered the room slowly. It was a small room witha single table and several chairs around it. It looked like it was probably a break room for the employees of the warehouse at some point. I could see the discoloration on the wall where a refrigerator had once been and there was a long, grimy counter that probably held a microwave at one point. But now the room was inhabited by Dr. McIntyre and several men in dark suits, nothing else.

They smile and follow her. She goes to the lift and they go down to the basement. All the holding cells are down here, along with the shooting range and a fair amount of storage. Eddie leads the way to the guard room and takes a seat by the screens. He pulls up Mason’s cell so she can see what she’s walking into. She studies the screen for a moment.
