I turned. Kai stood in the doorway, barefoot, wearing only dark sweatpants that sat low on his hips. His black hair was still damp from a shower. Water droplets clung to the hard lines of his chest and shoulders. And his eyes—usually so carefully controlled—had gone completely black around the edges. He inhaled once, slow and deep. Then he went very, very still. “You’re in heat,” he said. His voice was rougher than I had ever heard it.

I bowed to him and left the room. I closed the door softly behind me, I hadn't made it more than a few steps when I heard the door open and close again. I kept my head down waiting for the men to pass me by but instead someone stopped directly in front of me. I stiffened as a hand gently tilted my head up and I noticed I was staring directly into the eyes of Kassius. “I know how you feel about me kitten, I can sense it in you everytime you are near me. Why has it taken you so long to speak to me?” he whispere

Kai The murderous intent coming from Xamnir nearly knocked me out cold, and I pulled Caterina behind me. Xamnir has cold blue eyes, hair so light it looks translucent, and a body built the same as mine. Everything about him screamed the word ‘Alpha’; I could see where our bloodline got its appearance from. I know if I had to take him on, I would come out second best. “Kai?” Caterina says, gripping my arm tight. “Who… who is this?” I look back at her, the fear clearly showing in my eyes and mouth the word.

Kai smirked. “What do you mean? Xerxes has no weakness.” His eyes remain on her as she shyly curled her fingers in the long lose strands and looked at him through her lashes. Kai felt his pants tightening. Beautiful and seductive. Just like hai type. Blonde hair and blonde freckles upon skin that was as white as a new page. “He has. Find me information on Lucien Alora.”

KNOX Kai and I were sprawled out in my room doing important work. Important work had us glued to my laptop screen. LunaLust’s latest stream was playing, and neither of us had spoken in minutes—too busy watching and melting. Fuck. She was sexy. There was just something about her that reeled me in so deep I couldn’t care to detach. “Bro!” Kai muttered, “Why couldn’t the moon goddess give me a mate like that? What kind of injustice is this? She moves like water, fucking hell! Why is Kael missing this?”

The three took a deep breath as the ground under their feet moved and shakes. "[Prepare to become brutal, guys. Let's show them who we really are in a battle. I mean, don't hold back this time, let's go all out!!~]" Kai energetically informed them through telepathy. He smiled widely, showing his whites as he formed his hands into fists, preparing to position himself in a fighting stance while staring at his opponent, Xev, with sparkling eyes, full of hope and admiration.

He slowly rose up as the silence continued, everyone staring at us in completely, and utter, shock. "Hey, I'm Kai. Kai Dixon." He greeted to Sebastian, holding out his hand. Sebastian slowly brought up his hand and shook it hesitantly "Sebastian. Harrison." Kai's eyes widened "That's you? Hey Matt, guess who it is." Matt huffed angrily, keeping his scowl on Sebastian. "Kai! Get your ass over here now!" Morello whispered fiercely, trying hard not to look at us in the form Sebastian and I were in. I would expect this scolding from Sarah, but she still stood there, unable to move or close her mouth.

The comments were already popping. [Congrats on escaping misery and starting fresh!] [Omg Ella's living a rom-com. How'd you score a hot CEO?] Chuck—handsome, rich, CEO of a public company. Everyone knew who he was. Ella was eating it up. [Because I'm young and cute? Lol. Actually, he loves me.] [Don't be jelly—you'll find your prince too!] I just sat there, staring. The bitterness didn't even sting—it was almost funny.

The older man's hand was cold, it was big and cold. "Hello," Kai ignored his temperature. "My name is Alexander Kai. Uhm, you can call me Kai." Augustine said hi and shook their hand. After that,he sat back on his seat. The table was for four, so Sharon and Kai also took a seat. They sat across each other, Tyler was on Kai's left, while Augustine was on his right. Tyler ordered the staffs to transfer the food from the other table to theirs. After that, Tyler and Augustine talked about business. Sharon listened and took notes of the important details while Kai remained silent the whole time.
