Eleanor Chipettes Novels & Stories

“Calm down, baby.” Eleanor growled but finally stopped thrashing, chest rising and falling as she glared at Charles. “Fine,” she snapped. “I’ll just kill them both together. I don’t have to waste my energy. Just tell me who the other woman is. I swear I’ll—”

Calvin looked at the burning cigarette with a lonely expression, the faint red smoke swirling with the sharp scent of nicotine. “I want to know too, but I haven’t had the chance to ask. The people I sent to investigate couldn’t find anything about her past.” “If even your people can’t find her, then the matter must be complicated.” Calvin was thinking the same thing. When Eleanor left, she had been just a girl, not yet twenty. How much power could she possibly have held back then?

Theodore asked with a slight smirk as he sipped from the glass of champagne he was holding. “I’m just waiting for her to sniff me out.” I smiled faintly. I really wished she was my true mate, but on second thought, she’d rather not be… if I want her to be safe. “You go ahead. Veronica is right there. She’s waiting for you.” I patted his shoulder and he nodded before walking away. Meanwhile, Eleanor hid at the other dark corner, staring at me. A surge of anger ran through her veins as she saw how passionately I was looking at Daphne.

Bent down, and from the pool of blood at the yellow-toothed gambler's feet I picked up the black chip. I wiped the blood off it with the hem of the jacket. Then I lifted my head to Dante. "Mr. Castellano. Paid in full." I held the chip up between us. "This chip—can I take it to the cage for cash. Now."

"With the house in this state? And while your husband is working himself to the bone in another country? It seems very selfish, Elena. But I suppose I shouldn't expect anything else." The front door opened, and Chloe marched in. she was wearing bright sunglasses and a colorful dress that made Eleanor look like a gray cloud. "Morning, everyone!" Chloe chirped. She didn't wait for an invitation. She walked over to me and grabbed my arm. "Ready, El? The car is running, and I’ve got a massive craving for cucumber water and peace and quiet." Eleanor gave Chloe a look that would have frozen a volcano. "Miss... Chloe, was it? I was just telling Elena that she has responsibilities here."

a soft, fragile voice drifted from the edge of the dais. The crowd parted once more, their eyes shifting to Eleanor Vane. She stood tall, her simple grey silk gown draped over her thin shoulders, her silver-white hair catching the light. She looked pale, but her sapphire eyes held a quiet, terrifying clarity that seemed to freeze the room. She walked down the steps of the dais slowly, her soft slippers silent on the marble, stopping just behind Elena.

A female voice told Ellaine. She was beaten and tired, more dead than alive. Her breath was just a thin thread. But she was determined to win this, once and for all. She wouldn’t dare give up. Because her hands were tied, she struggled to reach the Hristoax with her mouth. To distract Ánië, she said “You will not be able to beat me now.” “Really? Why?” She turned to Ellaine just in time to see her eat the pearl in her necklace—the Hristoax.

too. Eleanor’s lip curled in disgust. She wasn’t as stupid as her daughter, Chloe. Chloe saw a friend in Autumn; Eleanor saw a parasite. She had watched Autumn for years, hovering around the family, playing the role of the quiet, suffering mouse. But Eleanor knew better. She could see that there was something between Eric and that "Winter Girl."

ASTRID I breeze into the headquarters of The Michiavelli winery, trying to quel my ever mounting excitement. It’s not everyday that lady Eleanor — the baddest bitch on the planet if I do say so myself — calls me into her office. It’s not everyday that she has something “urgent” to discuss with me. Lady Eleanor is my role model. I love that woman so much, I would give her my kidney in a heartbeat if she asked nicely. Hell, I would force the kidney on her even if she didn’t ask nicely.

His face was full of pride as he quipped, "That scammer just now was so amateurish. She even wanted to impersonate our aunt! Doesn't she know that we don't even have a dad, let alone an aunt! Foolish!" Eleanor's face turned red from the excitement, like a ripe tomato. She nodded in agreement, "Chris, you are really clever. I almost thought she was a good person just now. She said she wanted to chat with me after the awards ceremony, but luckily you saw through her tricks first." ***
