Unleashed Desires

Unleashed Desires

Damian asked. “Nah, I’ve got it all under control,” Mark said easily. “So, how do you guys usually spend your days?” “I actually borrowed a book from the library,” I said, “so I’ll probably just read all day.” “You still borrow physical books?” Mark asked, genuinely curious. “Why not just get it on your phone?” “Because it’s not the same,” I replied with a smile. “There’s something different about holding it, about the smell of paper and ink, and swiping pages.”

First Class Male

First Class Male

Peter had decided to release preview copies as a digital e-book, and true to his word, the buzz was already making headlines. Rachel was thrilled at the attention “Legal Briefs” was receiving, only she wasn’t quite sure if all the hype was about her novel, or about Prelude’s entry into the electronic publishing revolution. As she dragged her exhausted body through the lobby of her apartment building at a quarter past midnight, she was too tired to care. As soon as Rachel opened the door to her apartment, she noticed the yellow light flashing the number 75 viciously on her answering machine, and she was afraid to even try to read her e-mail.

The Mafia's Chosen Girl

The Mafia's Chosen Girl

Ilham asked again. Zaya looked at the pile of files on the table and several large, medium and small books neatly stacked next to the table. "Which piles haven't you sorted yet?" Zaya asked again. "The ones at the first and second ends near the bookshelf have been sorted. Most of them are ... important documents, but only a small portion of the books." Zaya smiled and was happy to hear Ilham's answer. Indeed, compared to documents, Zaya preferred sorting books. It was faster. Meanwhile, documents required special treatment that was more troublesome for Zaya to maintain. Especially when it came to documenting them first.

“I also read thrillers. Dan Brown, Lee Child, and Matthew Reilly.” “I haven’t seen so many books in anyone’s house since a long time now,” she said, enchanted by the room. “Most people read on the Kindle.” “I like the feel of a paperback in my hand. The smell of books is irreplaceable.” She liked his old-fashioned thinking and appreciated how he was sharing these little insights with her.

Except, of course, some people pay attention to all of this. and show up. The two exchanged a knowing look. "I wish I could guarantee that," she said. “You certainly deserve it, but the truth is. which is unpredictable. Well, you know how the book business is these days. so many people drawn to electronic media rather than good old-fashioned books. And the prices are high, especially for hardcover books.

Logan nodded in understanding. "Mostly, the classics have been translated into English, but there are some books available talking about laws, history, and technological advancement." He went to stand with a tablet and typed out some words. He read through and turned to her. "They are in issue, so we can pick them up. Most books come in digital formats, but I think you will like physical books very much." That was right. Ellis enjoyed thumbing through the pages of books and smelling the paper. The experience seemed so much more enjoyable. "I would love that."

(Part 2) I have to commend the author for having such an amazing ability to come with an amazing story! The characters are lovable! There’s humor, passion and a good solid story around it! What more could you ask for! It’s definitely worth your gems and time! You’ll love this!

This was such an interesting story! I enjoyed the characters and plot development. A recommended read! One hiccup was that throughout various chapters there was random errors in the names (e.g, Ellis named Bella). It was a bit distracting but not a deal breaker.

The One For The Alpha Boss

The One For The Alpha Boss

I turned to Violet who held a book, one of paper back and one of hard copy. “I don’t know which I like bettter.” She said staring at me with her honey eyes. “Anyone you feel more, I’m not really a book person, I prefer e copies.” She gasped and placed her hands on her chest in the most dramatic way possible. “You did not just say that,” she pouted holding both books to her chest. “Well I have nothing with e copies I just feel more connected with hard copies.” She explained. “Then you should go for a hard cover, it’s long lasting, just in case, it would go a long way if you ask me.”

Sweet Marriage: Dear Lady, You're Mine

Sweet Marriage: Dear Lady, You're Mine

He was a scheming man! George raised an eyebrow. "Almost all of them are wrong. Who could be so dumb?" "I don't know." She was just happy from reading the stories. "These are even better than novels. I feel like telling them the truth after I see them making so many guesses." George really admired her thinking and asked, "Do you usually read novels?" George knew that Sigrid would read novels on an e-book reader when she was bored. There was less radiation than a mobile phone, and it recreated the feeling of reading an actual book, reducing the damage on one's eyes. Aside from that, she would also put on blue light glasses.

I slid into the cafeteria, spotting Tom and Ben, the marketing guys I spoke with yesterday, waving me over. “Hey, Aria! Mind if we join you?” Tom asked, already balancing a tray piled with food. “Of course,” I said, motioning to the seat beside me. Ben grinned, plopping down. “So, I read this article last night about kids barely picking up books anymore. It’s all tablets, smartphones… digital this, digital that.” I nodded, scooping a spoonful of rice. “Exactly. I mean, kids can read online, sure, but nothing beats holding a book, feeling the pages. There’s something about it, slows you down, makes you focus.”

Strange short stories

Strange short stories

The first volume of Strange Short Stories is now available on as an ebook and physical book! Why should I buy it if I can read for free here? -The book has an extra chapter and illustrations that are not available on other platforms. The book contains corrected and improved versions of all the stories, leading to a whole new reading experience! (I'm sorry to leave you with the old version, but I preferred not to get rid of the originals!) Overall, reading the physical version of a book is always a more rewarding and comfortable experience. With that in mind I decided to publish the physical version of the book for those who feel that way too. Unfortunately, paper and ink are expensive.
