Yeeekssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It’s my seventeenth birthday today! I have been waiting for this day for so long. After my parents died two years ago, I worked both day and night, in order to live an independent life. I hadn’t had any reason to live my life; finding my mate on my seventeenth birthday, gave me a lot of hope, hope for a better tomorrow.

I’m so happy today! I’ll be meeting my mate for the first time. I just have to wait for the full moon to appear tonight, and I will grasp my mates intoxicating scent and the same for my mate. Our scents will pull us together and we will be inseparable. I just need to wait for three more hours, and my mate will be in front of my eyes.

I’m wearing the best dress in my wardrobe. It’s a red, long sleeved, backless dress. It reaches my mid thigh. My Mum bought me this dress; I don’t know if it was her motherly instincts, or what, but she especially bought this dress for today’s occasion and the surprise is, it fits me perfectly. My hairs were in curls, falling down on my shoulders and on my waist. I’m wearing black, sexy stilettos to go with the dress.

“Thank you, Mum. I really miss you.” The words escaped my mouth as a soft whisper.

Now! Just any minute…

In a matter of seconds, a strong wave of the most intoxicating and arousing scent attacked my nose. The scent was so good and mouthwatering thar I could feel it was my mate. I started following the scent until I reached the waterfall. My eyes instantly closed, but I could tell my mate was in front of me.

I slowly opened my eyes, and brown eyes were looking at me. I locked eyes with the next alpha of our pack.

It’s Daniel. Daniel is my mate!

I couldn't describe my happiness in words. I had a crush on him since childhood. We weren’t good friends, but we also weren’t strangers. My father was the beta of the pack so we used to visit the pack house very often.

When we were children, he was very good with everyone but as we reached to the teen age, he started changing. It came slowly, the change. First hitting with small things & then taking over his whole presonality. He became arrogant and functioned with his ego. He always had a girl attached to his hand, which could spend a day and night with him in bed, and would like to fuck him whenever or wherever he wanted.

I never liked his lifestyle, but I thought after he has a mate, he will change. After all, after being marked by your mate, your mind, body, and soul is connected to your better half.

Just as I looked in his eyes my inner wolf started jumping and howling in happiness screaming - "MATE!! HE IS OUR MATE!!"

I stared happily in his eyes. But his expressions were of pure disgust. He was looking at me angrily. His hand made a fist and slammed hardly on the rock beside my head. I flinched.

Then he started taking deep breathes and looked back at me.

“Daniel? What happened? Why are you so angry?" I whispered softly.

"What do you mean by why am I so angry? Who the fuck would feel happy after seeing you in front of him as a mate?" He said angrily.

"What are you saying? I'm your mate right? What's wrong with me?" My heart was beating frantically.

“Just shut the fuck up bitch! You're not worthy to be a Luna of my pack. You are just a pitied orphan and a bad omen. You're not worth to be MY MATE!" as he spat those words, his voice was laced with disgust.

"Please don't talk to me like that Daniel. You know my parents died in a rougue attack. It wasn't anyone's fault. And what makes me a bad omen, Daniel? Please give me us a chance." I whispered softly. This wasn't how it was supposed to happen. This couldn't be happening with me.

The fear of staying alone forever gripped my heart & tears started flowing down on my cheeks freely.

After hearing my words, his anger vanished and an evil smirk took its place. He roamed his eyes from my tip to toe with a dirty look in his eyes.

“I don't want a mere ex- beta's daughter to be my mate. I'll marry a strong Alpha's daughter. Til then I'm satisfied with the whores roaming around me. If you want to be one of them, I don't have any objection you know." I didn’t expect my first encounter with my mate to be this horrible.

Something died in me after hearing his words. They were like thousands of small needles digging in my heart.

But I tried one last time.

"What are you talking about Daniel? I'm much better than the whores you roam around with. I'm much better than a fuck toy.” I’M JUST HURT!

"Oh yeah!!! I’m not denying this fact. I'll give you a chance to be my fuck toy for a night. If you're worth to be my whore, I'll give you a place in my whore list."

I felt disgusted by him but I just couldn't deny the mate bond. It was a bond of lifetime. How the hell could he reject that?

He said all of this shit with a smirking face. My whole respect for him, love for him, and hope of my life died in that instant moment.

Now remained only hatred and heartache.

My hand came in full force and landed on his cheek. I was seething in anger and pain. He looked back at me with fury in his eyes.

And with those last words, unbearable pain and darkness consumed me.
