My Husband's Double Life

My Husband's Double Life

She stepped forward— And fell through. --- The reflections screamed: REWRITE INCOMPLETE! The End roared: ANCHOR MIGRATION SUCCESSFUL. And everything shattered again. But this time— Something remained. And somewhere far beyond the correction layer— Emma landed hard on unfamiliar ground. Breathing. Alive. Unwritten. And not alone. A shadow stood ahead of her. Waiting. Watching. And when it spoke— It wasn’t the man. It wasn’t the End. It was something older. “You were not supposed to escape twice.”

The Suit Series

The Suit Series

Inhaling, I turned around and exhaled deeply when my eyes drifted to where I was supposed to be going; the shortcut. It's not that I'm worried because the alleyway is smelly, or because the alleyway was dark, or because the alleyway has lots of unwanted pests in it; no. I'm worried because of the last incident I and that alleyway had experienced. Me learning that the guy I used to love, Jay Emerson, maybe working with NASA and FBI for I witnessed him killing something, an alien -well, aliens. Taking one last breath, I fixed my bag strap and walked to where the shortcut was. "This is gonna be easy."

Deep Down Your Black Heart

Deep Down Your Black Heart

The skies darkened with smoke, red-tinted clouds casting an apocalyptic glow as shockwaves rippled through the city, evaporating those caught too close. Taking advantage of the chaos, Emily worked swiftly. She retrieved a portable mirror and her prototype tweezers, etched with runes and powered by a green core. With precise movements, she disabled the tracker and transferred it to her sleeping cat. The device rebooted, fusing with the animal’s spine as Emily prepared her escape. Packing essentials into her backpack, she donned a hooded outfit and holstered a gun. Driven by fear, desperation, and a sliver of hope, she sprinted into the chaos.

The Twins He Never Knew

The figure smiled, revealing teeth made of "Dialogue-Fragments." "I’m the Ghostwriter," he said. "And I’ve been hired by your father’s Real-World Estate to file an injunction. But it’s gonna get messy." Suddenly, the red ink began to flood the 401st Chapter, turning the blue sky into a dark, rainy night in a city that shouldn't exist. [NARRATIVE ERROR: GENRE-FLIP DETECTED. Reborn:The mafia king wife

Reborn:The mafia king wife

Trust. It was a word Samuel had erased from their childhood. Yet... Richard had spent one year teaching them exactly that. --- Meanwhile... Far below the fortress... Eve sprinted through collapsing corridors. Concrete crashed behind her. Sparks flew from broken electrical panels. The emergency lights flickered violently. Warning sirens screamed throughout the underground complex. She ignored them all. Her breathing grew heavier. Her white suit was stained with dust and blood from a cut on her forehead. Still... She kept running.

The Liberal Assassin

The Liberal Assassin

For the people who didn’t know better, it would look like two gay fathers and an adopted son. The thoughts about an idle future seemed warm and fuzzy, the words on the page blurred. Yawning, I decided to take a nap. It wasn’t as if Spencer would come knocking at my door in a minute. Snuggling into the pillow, I welcomed sleep with open arms. >>Xxx Destiny Aitsuji xxX<< Funnily enough, the thing that woke me wasn’t Spencer pounding at my door or Patrol Guards breaking through my window, demanding that I turn myself in. Instead, it was an emergency call from the dialler that disrupted my beauty sleep.

Ancalagon: The Last Pure Dragon

Ancalagon: The Last Pure Dragon

I keep expecting the fire to burn me, to leave blisters like I saw on my father when he passed. “You need to get out, it’s going to collapse!” Fenian says, rushing up to me. He is also carrying two women. These are passed out, one over his shoulders and one in his arms. “I have to get Emmi!” I yell. As I run through the center, I pull my earth element, reinforcing the walls with dirt and sand, noticing that some of it is getting so hot that it’s melting into glass. “EMMI!” I yell again. I push through the fire, unable to see anything but flames and smoke. When I finally find her, she’s on the floor, sitting in a tight ball, her hands over her ears, rocking as she screams.

Great book. Just love the series as well as the others books by this Author. Cooper just has a way of writing and drawing you in to where you don't want to stop reading until you reach the end just as a great author should be :)

This book is a tear jerker, but also touching. It has a fabulous balance of adventure and emotion. All the pieces come together. Cooper set this series up with great skill. I could not read fast enough. Waiting for a chapter to post was brutal. Brilliant

Biker's Forbidden Desire

Biker's Forbidden Desire

Darkness. Total and complete. My heart raced. This was it. This was our moment. I heard the locks clicking. Electronic systems failing. "Em, get ready, " The lights came back. Generators kicked in. Emergency power. Not dead yet. But close. So close. "False alarm," I said. Em was already on her feet. Holding the ceramic lid. Ready. "They're dying," I said. "Maybe hours now. We stay ready." We stood. Weapons in hand.

Sorry, Your Fangirl Logged Off

Sorry, Your Fangirl Logged Off

At our class reunion, my so-called best friend, Shannon Drew, pulled out a box stuffed with folded notes. A line was taped across the top— [Draw one of Mia Martinez's hopeless-romantic quotes.] The room burst out laughing. Someone pulled a love letter I'd written to Damien Byford senior year. "Damien smiled at me today. I want to give him all my tomorrows, too." Someone else grabbed one from college. "It's okay if he doesn't text back. He'll think of me when he's not busy." Damien had never replied to a single letter. I'd always figured he'd tossed them years ago. Then Shannon drew letter No. 99. Leaning against Damien, she laughed as she read, "If you ever decide you don't want m
