Novel & Cerita Emergency Fan Fiction

“Yeah, I’m bored. Read to me.” I gave him an incredulous expression and prepared the nastiest insult I could think of when I realized he could just call my father. Mr carter set up an emergency button on the chair that would directly contact him in case there was danger. Danger being me. Which means I am fucked. I kept my mouth shut and counted to ten. “Can I take a shower first?” “Take me to your room, I’ll wait there.” “Why?” Lucian doesn’t answer, he merely lifts his eyebrow. And he hovered his forefinger over the emergency button.

The pneumatic doors hissed shut behind them, leaving Daniel and me standing in the flickering crimson light of the internal security corridor. "Where would a desperate bitch run when the world's ending, Feisty?" Daniel drawled, flipping his tactical knife in his hand before sheathing it with a fluid movement. "She's not trying to escape into the horde," I reasoned out loud, my mind racing as my foresight mapped out the compound's blueprints. "She knows she won't survive five seconds out there. She's likely heading for the backup power grid or the emergency ventilation shaft. If she cuts the main air scrubbers, the airborne strand gets pulled straight into the subterranean living quarters.

However, how are we going to escape this place? Ethan was looking around, looking for an area to go through. I flinched when they repeatedly kicked the door open. Oh god, what are we going to do? Are we going to die here? “Up here!” I looked up and saw there was a vent there. Ethan quickly lifted my body, opening the vent with his enormous hands and pushing me inside. It could only fit one person! How is he going to fit here? “How about you?!” I yelled, and I offered my hand. I am not going anywhere without him!

“Not killing, just pushing. They want chaos!” Ben, sweating and typing furiously on a small device, responded, “It’s the Architect 2.0, he’s messing with their brains. Micro-pulses triggering fear responses. It’s not just tech..it’s mind games!” Maya grabbed an elderly woman and helped her behind a hedge, her voice calm but firm. “This way, ma’am. You’re okay. Keep moving!” Amelia’s voice came sharp and steady over the earpiece. “All teams: emergency evacuation now. Get civilians to the secure points.”

Lily guarded the child, her love for me fierce, while Claire and Ethan fired at the tank’s crew, their loyalty unyielding. Plot twist two: the clearing wasn’t just a battlefield—it was a beacon, linked to my father’s final failsafe, a global EMP to erase Syndicate tech. The journal’s last page, hidden under a seal, revealed its activation code. I typed it into the radio, the sky humming as the EMP charged, ready to end the Syndicate forever. But Voss lunged, his knife flashing, aiming for my heart.

"For everything. For pushing you away, for lying, for—" "Later," Stark says quietly. "We'll have time to talk about everything later. Right now, we just need to survive." Behind us, the sky above Fang territory glows red. Screams carry on the wind, growing more numerous as possession spreads. The demon invasion we failed to prevent is consuming everything in its path. And somewhere in that chaos, twelve children we saved are trying to escape. Derek's sacrifice hopefully bought them enough time. Hopefully they'll reach safety. Hopefully this nightmare has some small piece of light in it.

And in one of those flashes, I saw it: a small blinking light, half-buried under shards of metal. Damian's tracker. Hope burned through the smoke. I grabbed it, thumb trembling as I pressed the activation switch. It buzzed once. Then went silent. No signal. Tears stung my eyes. "No, no, no..." Somewhere above, the structure groaned, threatening to give way. I needed to move. I crawled toward the only place that wasn't burning - the emergency shaft Damian had once shown me on a blueprint. "Every system has a ghost exit, Elena," he'd said with that infuriating calm. "Even mine."

Emily volunteered to sleep at the side house and look after his children because it would be difficult for the CEO to find someone else to care for them on short notice. Richard and Favian worried about how the boys would behave in Emily's for an extended period. Secrets could leak while they slept. However, due to the situation's urgency, Richard could only call to inform Ambrose about the sudden arrangement. Surprisingly, the Fenrir did not protest at Emily’s extended service. If anything, he sounded pleased and asked when Richard would bring her to the Blue Moon Mansion officially. Richard ignored the guardian wolf and hired extra security to look after the boys who loved it.

I make her earn it for another twenty minutes, because if I fold too fast she'll know I'd fold for her on most things. She probably knows anyway. She's not stupid. She's the brightest mind I've had the misfortune of opposing in two years. The lights cut out. Just for a second, the whole floor drops dark, the AC sighs to a stop, and then the emergency strip over the door buzzes on, dim and orange. Somebody in facilities killed the wrong breaker. It happens after hours. In the half-dark Imani's still holding the marker. "Did you do that," she asks, "Or did I win so hard I blew the power?"

I stood quietly with Chloe's urn in my arms. I just wanted to stay close to her. Then my phone rang. I didn't even have to look. Years ago, I'd given Richard his own ringtone. I answered. For once, he sounded hesitant. Almost guilty. "Selena, Grace's son was in a car accident. He's lost a lot of blood and needs a transfusion immediately. His blood type is rare. Grace isn't a match, and the hospital's running low. Blood from another hospital might not get here in time."
