Winter
I struggled through some of it, my tongue feeling like it was getting twisted a few times.
All the while, Mr. Penn stared at me. He watched me intently as I worked my way through the quote.
“What does it mean?”
I chuckled. “I wrote it down, Mr. Penn. It’s a quote from Siddhartha.”
“And?”
Sighing, I rolled my eyes. “Wisdom cannot be imparted. Wisdom that a wise man attempts to impart always sounds like foolishness to someone else ... Knowledge can be communicated, but not wisdom. One can find it, live it, do wonders through it, but one cannot communicate and teach it.”
