The Boyfriend Gift From My Husband
Raphael yelled over his shoulder, "Didn't my mom ask you to start trying for a baby? You said no, didn't you? You don't want to give birth? Fine. Once Brie has the baby, we'll raise it for you. That kid'll be yours."

"Screw off."
I slammed the door behind them. Finally, peace.

I opened it. A pair of earrings lay inside.
Tom plucked one up and leaned in close, brushing his fingers against my earlobe.
"Don't move. Raphael was in the way earlier, so I couldn't give it to you."
He fastened the earring and leaned back to take a good look, visibly pleased.
