I was a broken girl and now I was being sold out like furniture by my own father. Engines roared in the distance. Three black trucks rolled into the clearing, dust kicking up behind them. They stopped in a half circle and the doors opened. Rogues poured out of the truck at least a dozen. They looked big, scarred, and moved like predators, not like pack wolves with their rules and hierarchy. These looked like they'd kill you for breathing wrong. Then he stepped out; Ryder Blackwood. Logan’s straight face and harsh tone did not leave room to guess that this was a joke. “In fact, as head Alpha of the region, I can tamper with whatever security plans you have, but you can’t come in here, telling me what to do,” Logan continued and then came the golden words, “you’re not Alpha here anymore.” My head echoed a prolonged ringing sound on the inside. I took a deep breath, trying to put myself together and prevent this from going any further. The choice of words as well as tone was already turning heads towards the both of us and it was quickly becoming embarrassing.

Seeing their Alpha, The warriors were excited as the fought with enthusiasm, with Ryan by their side, they were bound to win the fight. One by one the rogues were decreasing in number but no one knew what happened to the rogues who had escaped into the pack. The leader of the rogues attempted a sneak attack on Ryan, he jumped on him and bit his neck pinning him to the ground. Alpha Ryan grabbed him by the leg smashing him to the tree beside them, he went ahead to grab him by the neck crushing his bones but the rogue wouldn’t yield and escaped his grasp. He made a flip tearing down on Ryan’s back giving him a huge wound at his back.

“I’m no longer part of a pack.” His smirk deepened. “That so? I wonder what you did to actually have yourself be exiled like this.” He crossed his arms, his gaze piercing through me as if he could see everything I was trying to hide. Nevertheless, it is not something that should concern me. I guess that makes you a rogue now, too. Unless of course you have different plans, which I assume since you're walking around by yourself, you do not.” I didn’t respond. I knew what rogues were, savages, criminals, wolves who had been cast out for a reason. But standing here, abandoned by my own family, left for dead by my mate, I realized something.

He seems to look around him once more, and then over to a rogue standing not far from him, who slowly moves to stand next to the one that spoke. As they whisper between themselves, I take in a scan of the area around me and see that the rogues are now outnumbered, one rogue against two Alphas

I replied looking down, embarrassed. "Tania" He sighed " you're safe here, your pack members wouldn't dare come here. Now let's go the Alpha needs you" "Needs me?... " He interrupts "I'll explain on our way there " We both walked fast while he explained how some rogues broke into the territory and began attacking some pack members, Alpha was alerted and immediately shifted into his wolf, he battled with the rogues and it wasn't a normal quick battle as more rogues continued coming out from their hiding spot. His wolf took control when one of the rogues started moving towards the mansion. He succeeded in killing most of the rogue without injuries, as the rogue was almost at the mansion Alpha

Slow drops of rain kept hitting me and the weight of laying down was all over me. The hard smell of smoke and woods filled my nose as I slept there,but when my eyes opened all that I could see were tall woods. Where was I ? The question went into my head and the next moment I got my answer. Last night after the festivals my father tried to have me killed and I somehow managed to escape with the rogue Alpha.
