The Wolf King and the Wilted Flower

The Wolf King and the Wilted Flower

Dead in every way except breathing. Yet now... He knelt before Grey in wolf form. Entirely aware. Grey descended the steps slowly. "Lyon..." His voice sounded strangely rough. The former knight smiled weakly. "I apologize for my appearance." Grey ignored the joke. He grabbed Lyon's wolf head and put his own forehead against Lyon’s. "Look at me." Lyon obeyed. Grey searched his face desperately. No vacant stare. No confusion. No feral instincts. Only exhaustion. Only relief.

Sacrificed to the Alpha

Sacrificed to the Alpha

Or smirk, I don’t know. Her face flashed again and I am entirely sure now that that was a smirk. A freaking “my grandson is hot af, isn’t he?” kind of a smirk. Jane, the High Priestess and doggie’s grandmother, has cerulean eyes and silver hair styled in the likes of Emilia Clarke’s Daenerys Targaryen in the HBO show “Game of Thrones”. I haven’t yet watched the eighth season because I couldn’t find any television in this room. I hope the T.V. here has an annual HBO premium subscription so that I can also binge “Sex and the City”.

Bounty Hunter: The Space Bender

Bounty Hunter: The Space Bender

Wink on the other hand, grunted, sending warning to the archers. "I got North; ten to one o’clock," Kaizer whispered. "Mine's your west, six to nine. Wink can you guard our back?" Jace asked the dragon. The dragon proudly grunted, puffing gray smoke from his nose. Eurie tried her best to stand but her knees wobbled like a jelly, still shocked to the fall she went through. All she can do was look at the back of these two men; one she barely knew and the other she never seen before.

Blue asked, worried. Hierro smiled as he let his tears fall. "It was just for a short time, but – " he muttered and stopped outside the castle. He let his body disappear. " – I am glad that I met you all..." he said and sobbed as he lowered his head. I am so happy that I met everybody... he thought and smiled. Especially Skye. Flashback "Ah. That book..." Hierro said when his coworker showed him a book. The book cover has a picture of lovers, sitting on the clouds.

Mirror of the Greykin

Mirror of the Greykin

Every word from his mouth, every glance he cast her way, felt like a reminder of everything that had been lost. But she couldn’t ignore him. The Heart of the Greykin. The very name twisted in her gut. If it truly existed, it was the one thing that could change everything. If they could find it, perhaps the curse on her people could finally be broken. Perhaps her kind could stand again, no longer hunted like animals, no longer forced into the shadows. Still, she didn’t trust him. Cassian, for his part, said little on the journey. He was clearly still recovering from the injury she’d treated in the cave, though he refused to acknowledge his pain. His focus was always on the path ahead, as thou

Dragon's Blood (Book Two)

Dragon's Blood (Book Two)

The old dwarf peers at us through hooded eyes. Chugging the glass of milk in his hand he sets it down on the throne room table. The elder glances over each of us before his eyes land on me. Placing a fist over my heart I bow to him. "It is a pleasure to meet you Sir Fimrouck. I am Chieftain Eleonora of the Perilous Horde and this is my mate Flavius. Behind me are my warriors Soren and Dovydas," I introduce.

using the same sharp-edged tone. A cold smirk crossed Tyrion's mouth. He leaned forward, placing his elbows on the table, his fingers laced. "Mr. Greco, do you mind sharing what was in the last message Ulisses Cordeiro sent you and the council members before he died?" I had no idea what Tyrion was talking about, but judging by Greco's reaction, he knew very well. His face became red, and his jaw clenched. "H-how do you know about the message?" he said, his voice sounding far less confident than any of his previous words.

Alpha's Pup Mate

Alpha's Pup Mate

He lowered his hand over the other hole and let his blood drip into it. All was deathly silent and soon we could hear stones breaking behind us. We all turned to look behind us and the stones behind us gave away and soon the cavern was filled again with a blue light. Could it be? Grey walked up to the crumbling wall and pulled the debris away. I saw his eyes light up in joy. "This is it." He brought out a book and the light from it was almost blinding and then it slowly died away. "This is the codex." My eyes were bright and I felt like crying. I was so happy and so was Grey. I looked at the book and I saw a paper sticking out of it.

the book is really nice, but Bailey is so immature and annoying, her actions in the last chapters just put me off so much, it’s like she makes me not want to read any further. Gray deserves way better.
JC..
I desperately want to like this book, and I definitely like what I understand, but there seem to be repeated issues with missing chapters and/or chapters from other books getting mixed in. Please fix if you can.
