A link to an article about workplace productivity with the comment "Thought you might find this amusing." Simple things that somehow made even the longest days feel a little less lonely.

“It’s not the best way to start the day, I can promise you.” Jax nodded. “And – and what? Every single day is exactly the same?”

SPENCER POV “Morning, Mr Douglas.” A sea of the same old Monday morning greetings. I smile my usual smile, ask after people’s weekends, and their kids, and their Saturday nights at the karaoke. I make my way through to my office with my usual take-out coffee and check my emails just like any other regular work morning. But it’s different this morning. I feel so different this morning.

Same as always. Home.

It felt nice to have my own personal attendants. "Will you be able to work today, Ivory?", of course James just had to pull me out of my daydream and remind me that I was poorer than he ever could. I smiled at him and nodded. I needed to feed somehow, right? The next day was a weekend and I had to work all day. I loved weekends. I didn't have to go to school and I didn't have to stay home. "Do you want to come over to my house tomorrow?" I loved weekends, it was the perfect time if the week to go to friends' houses and gawk, especially a rich one.
