The library doors were right ahead of us—double doors of carved walnut with brass handles. We slipped inside. The library was vast, two stories tall, lined with thousands of leather-bound books, a massive marble fireplace roaring at the far end, and a mahogany executive desk sitting in the center beneath a crystal chandelier. On the desk sat the master terminal. A sleek, high-powered desktop workstation connected directly to the university's global server array. Elias rushed to the desk, powering on the system. "Plug it in, Aria." With my shaking left hand, I pressed the silver hard drive into the master interface port.

Elaine walked up the steps into the library. The smell of old books filled the air as she walked inside. The librarian looked up from her desk, where she was organizing a stack of books. “Can I help you?” the old gamma asked. Elaine glanced her way, smiling. “Do you have anything on mate bonds?” The woman tilted her head, thinking for a moment. “I believe so. There should be a section near the back. Let me know if you have trouble finding it.”

Eve stepped inside, and her eyes widened at the sight.

Deciding to seek comfort in her books and her library Eva climbs out of bed and grabbed her walking stick from the nightstand. She exited her room and headed straight to the third floor. Eva listened for heartbeats to make sure not to run into anyone. She didn't want to talk to anyone right now. All she wanted to do was sit down on her windowsill and read a good book. She wanted to be transported somewhere else and be someone else. When she reached the Library door she felt out for the Braille lettering that let her know she was at her sanctuary. Eva pushed the large wooden doors open and walked inside. She set her walking stick down and took a deep breath.

"Look at that. We started a movement." Lina smiled, a real, unburdened smile. "We gave them the first sentence. They're writing the rest of the book themselves." Elara’s ship transmitted a new set of coordinates. Not a world in crisis, but a quiet, stable system at the crossroads of a dozen major narrative currents. "We have established the First Library," Elara said. "A repository not of finished stories, but of narrative tools, of structural forms, of character templates and poetic meters. ****** A few hours later. In such a short span of time, Eva had done a lot of activities such a mindless window shopping which included her in binge- buying some things which she had no use for. She also branches a cute looking dessert cafe and eat a plate of delicious chocolate cake, she even ordered for them to wrap another cake in the box for her because she planned to eat it after she get back home, she visited the closest bookstore near the cafe and bought some books to read at home if she was less busy.
