Sorry, I'm Mated To The Commander Novels & Stories

"He looks at you and your sister like you hung the moon. I think you’re not giving yourself enough credit.” I ducked my head at that. Why was this woman telling me all of this? “When's the marking ceremony?" I stammered, heat creeping up my neck. “Well… that’s—” “I’ll just wear my honor.” She shrugged. “Just don’t forget to invite us." “Who exactly is us?” She straightened. “His unit.” So he was a commander of some sort. “Will you have it here?” “We haven’t sorted all that out.” I cleared my throat. “I… actually have a fated mate, and it’s complicated. I don’t know you well enough to discuss it with you."

he began, his voice carrying a low, desperate vibration that was meant only for my ears. "The procession is waiting, Dominic," Sarah's voice cut in smoothly from the side, saving him from the humiliation of being ignored. My mother-in-law stepped up beside me, her silver eyes glowing with warmth as she placed a warm hand over my forearm. She looked from me to her son, taking in the absolute frost between us, and her mouth thinned into a tight line. "The pack needs to see their Alpha and Luna united today," Sarah said, her tone carrying the unmistakable authority of a Matriarch. "So get your shit together."

"That's sweet. Is it...forever?" Abby laughs a little. "Yeah. And I know that seems kind of weird, like we don't have a say in this, but we see mates as a really positive, joyful thing. Liam and I are really happy to be mated. Lots of us who are under eighteen can't wait to turn of age and find our mates." I sip my coffee and then set it on the coffee table in front of us. "So is it like being married? But with no divorce?"

“I’m here telling you we made a massive breakthrough. That I am innocent. Don’t you understand what this means?” His frown calls the dream to the front of my mind again with a rush of heat. I tighten my robe at the waist, even though it shortens the arms and leaves inches of my wrists vulnerable to the cold. “We can be mated publicly.” He stands with me, his wild grin softening into something kinder. “There’s nothing to worry about anymore. We didn’t attack you, and I can’t think of any better way to formally declare our alliance.” Publicly mated. Publicly tied to this man, son of the king who destroyed half the world in his quest for power. A man with a past I may never be able to fully und

he says, and all four of the commanders march out looking like esteemed champions. My stomach instantly twists as I realize I will be the next one exiting in front of the females. Going after the commanders will be hard to follow. Their mass alone is going to be more appealing to the females, not to mention their titles. Commander Burk has claimed gold status so every female out there will be wanting him as their mate.

I can fire you, you know that right. 'What the fuck?, he already accepted someone, but how can this even be possible, if He is accepted her then I won't feel the mate bond, it means He hasn't accepted her yet' 'why did I say yet, I am his Mate not her and she started to get on my nerve now and my wolf wants to go outside and rip her face.' 'Control Lesa, we will not do anything that will displease our Mate.' She agreed with me furiously. "Madam, I am going to get fired if I don't stop you and if I don't let you go you will fire me, but I have to listen to my Alpha madam please cooperate." He said pleading

Aces breath fanned out over Mj’s face and neck and she swallowed hard, trying to reject the outbreak of goosebumps on her flesh. Mj frowned and slapped her palm over Ace’s mouth. “I smell food,” she stated flatly, and the commander chuckled from behind her hand before stepping back from the door. “All I’m saying Mj is that if you want to appease the animal without him, if the pain becomes too extreme, the simple skin to skin contact of a compatible partner will at least subside the more painful… side effects,” he explained and Mj pinched her eyebrows together in inquiry as the smell of food cooking began wafting past her nose, “how do you know so much about a woman's heat Ace,” she teased an

Fornis asks and I try to look pleased by his compliments. "My name is Negumi, Commander. I'm happy I have caught the eye of one of the four Commanders. Your title speaks to your strength," I say smoothly and his chest seems to puff with pride. "Yes, Negumi, I am indeed strong, but I am more than my strength. I love nature. I love my family. I hope to find a female I can shower with love. What do you want in a mate, Negumi," he asks and I actually look the male over.

Uncle Leo remains silent, his gaze filled with pity as he looks at me. "Not you too, stop," I growl, the memory of Eric's sad eyes upon hearing Amelia say 'mate' echoing in my mind. "I can’t help it," he responds, his voice softening. "You’ve been mateless for centuries, and then your mate ends up being a descendant of Jane. Her being Nathaniel’s daughter isn’t even as fucked up as that." I sigh, running a hand stained with dried blood through my dark hair. "I need to shower," I say, tired of having this conversation.

I thundered, my Alpha aura slamming into him. Corwin gasped as the wave of pressure hit his chest, but he didn't let go. He forced me to look him in the eye, his gaze fierce with desperate, unyielding honesty. "Look at yourself!" Corwin yelled over the wind whipping through the chamber. "The mate bond is an instinct, Arthur! It gives you a connection, but it does NOT give you ownership! You lost the right to command her heart the moment you made her feel like a burden under your roof! If you ride into Black Ridge right now with blood in your eyes, you aren't fighting for love, you're acting like a tyrant trying to reclaim stolen cattle!"
