Jack's eyelashes fluttered and he didn't say anything. After sitting here for a long time, he got up, "Don't look for me, and don't follow me." Molly, however, didn't listen; wherever he went, she followed, like a tiny tail. Jack from the beginning of the helpless, to the middle of the depression, to the final acceptance, a whole year and a half, he seems to be used to this little tail. It rotated through the seasons, rain or shine. However, on the day before his second birthday, the little tail disappeared.

Axel said in a rather aggressive tone. I was instantly annoyed but something in me told me to listen. Not sure what made me do it but I looked back. Just in time to see a pair of eyes, yellow eyes looking directly at me before disappearing. They were only there for a few seconds but I know they were there. The only thing that kept me going was Jessica’s hand, pulling me with her.

Jack grinned and straightened his back, feeling particularly proud of himself for knowing something that I didn’t. He had that look on his face when a student got the chance to show off in front of an elder who was utterly dumbfounded by his smartness. I looked around for a large rock too and sat near him, “Continue, please. Tell me everything you know about this flower.” Jack rubbed his chin thoughtfully. “Well, all of this is pretty old knowledge that I had either read somewhere or heard from one of the elders as a children’s story that they used to tell us to put us to sleep.”

“Go ahead and open your eyes, Jack. Let us know that you can hear us.” It was a struggle, but the realization that he didn’t know where Everly was or if she was okay made him will his eyes open. Blinking a few times, Jack looked at the concerned faces around him and tried to piece everything together. He was surrounded by people who looked like they were about to cry, except for Jamie, the healer. She was concerned, but not tearful. He’d seen Everly, though, so he forced his eyes open again so he could lock in on her face.

Jacks eyes travel up and down her body without shame and I find I’m clenching my fists in response. “He fucking dares to look at my Mate like that!” Zeus roars. He starts to fight me for control. He wants to shift right now and claw Jacks eyes from his head to stop his roaming eyes.

“Jack is my bud" The thing was missing an eye, and it looked worse for wear. I love animals, but this one showed up at a wrong time. “I've never seen it before". “Jack is actually a stray I found about a year back. He was run over pretty bad by a truck, and nearly entirely buried in sand. I saw to his treatment and recovery, but I couldn't take him home because my mom is wary of strays. I also could not let him stay here for obvious reasons". He walked back to the sitting room, the dog walking duitifully at his side. I curled up at his feet and watched us with one wide eye. I sat as far as I could, and Jenn sat beside me.

Kabir, “I know Goofy, they did pursue the Eye which you know they never found. But years later, I mean….I don’t know how to say this.” Nezeira, stood up with her eyes now glowing with an unknown grimness. She then spoke, “Tell me what is it, Kabir.” Kabir, awkward and uncomfortable, spoke, “Look Goofy, I don’t know for sure, I heard it from other sources, more like rumor sort so don’t get too overwhelmed ok.” Nezeira, “I won’t just spit it out.”

I declared to him in a whisper. He didn't make any sound to my compliment, but when I rose to see him, I saw everything in his eyes. His eyes had brightened in colours, and more colours grew in them which reminded me of the rainbow. 'Which one is brighter? Jack's eyes or the rainbow?' I wondered in my mind. He seemed to hear my thoughts. He grinned, showcasing his sharp teeth, and he blinked his eyes like a cutie. My cutie pie. I giggled but stopped when I noticed I had nothing to be nervous about. This is Jack, a wolf who likes me.

The kind that says I see you and I am glad and this is everything and I will not make it weird. When she pulls back her eyes are doing something. "Do not," I say. "I am not doing anything," she says. "Your eyes are doing something," I say. "They are fine," she says, blinking rapidly. "Completely fine. Dust." "Hackney dust." "Notorious for it," she says.

Rougher. “Jack…?” He doesn’t answer. I touch his shoulder. “Jack!” He suddenly jerks back, and when his eyes meet mine, I scream. They are glowing. Not a trick of the light. Not imagination. Bright. Gold. Inhuman. “Jack, your eyes!” He jumps off the bed and bolts into the bathroom, slamming the door behind him so hard it shakes the walls. And then I hear it. A sound. Low. Deep. A growl. Not human.
