No one with good intentions enters by crashing through windows. More figures jumped in, and from their scent, Katie could tell they were shifters—not the ones she was expecting. "Jackals," she spat. Katie shot one in the chest, reloaded, and fired again, hitting another in the head. The last one managed to reach her, and Katie slammed the hilt of the gun on his head, but the man blocked it and grabbed the gun. Surprisingly, he met no resistance and was able to take it from her easily, but then he felt a sharp pain in his throat, and his world turned upside down as he realized he had been decapitated.

Angel’s POV I wake up with morning sickness again, you’d think a special healing Queen werewolf would escape simple pregnancy symptoms but that’s not happening. Once I’m dressed I head down to meet with everyone before me and Damon take uncle Zak and Jayden around our packlands. I move my neck from side to side and show him the marks. Jack's face pales and he swallows with a nod, "lets just get this done so I can go back to my pack." After shifting into our wolves, we start circling. Jack is a big black wolf with a white flash across his tail, and piercing blue eyes; not beautiful, but freaky. It doesn't go with his wolf or his nature.

After Ares left, I fell asleep with my fingers on the blood that was on the picture and I saw him but he wasn't alone this time. "I saw her MinT. All grown with her white hair and blue eyes." He said to the person in front of him. "Did she have the scar?" MinT questioned. The strange man looked at him like he was crazy. "of course she had the scar you dumbass. I, Kojune, am never wrong. I just need more time and then we'll strike. When we do, her Vampire Alpha won't be able to save her." Kojune said with a sneer on his face. "And why's that?"MinT asked looking even more clueless.
