“I don’t know, but it’s got to be about Finn. He’s been tailing him, playing this stupid game to get close. I told him it’s dangerous, that he should stay away, but you know Zero. He doesn’t listen.”
Nyx snorts, a faint smile tugging at her lips. “Sounds like someone else I know.”
I shoot her a glare, but there’s no heat in it. She is not wrong. I am just as stubborn as Zero is, especially when I set my eyes on something or something.
Before I can say anything else the door swings open and Zero storms in.
His face grim, his eyes dark with something that makes my stomach drop.
His hair is messy from the ride and I swear the tension rolling off him is thick enough to choke someone to death.
