It caught him square on his left eye, I ran past him as he fell to his death.

Seeing this, the rest of the group swarmed forward, hoping to overwhelm Alexander and his companions with their numbers, unaware of what they were about to face. Crack! Alexander suddenly raised his hand and precisely locked onto the throat of the ninja who had attacked first. While others might have struggled to see the ninja's form, Alexander saw him clearly. The ninja reacted well, swinging his blade toward Alexander, grasping at his only chance. The quality of the blade was good, but his strength was lacking. Thud! The sound of impact echoed as the blade struck Alexander's head, but it was blocked by a protective energy, unable to penetrate.
