Father And Son Authors Novels & Stories

He remembered everything his father had told him about their ancestors originating on Earth and being allowed to survive the first destruction. Two handsome men sat together. One had dark features and a touch of gray in his black hair. The other was young, strong, and muscular, with long, wavy black hair over his broad shoulders. Father and son shared a meal in their living quarters. It had been a long time since they could talk openly, not as commander and soldier, but simply as family.

Carol always noticed. “We’ve known each other for quite a very long time,” I took a deep sigh and answered. “Since we were kids. My father used his dad a lot. He was a weapons guy. The kind of man who’d sell bullets with a handshake and a smile. He and my father fell out over something. Nobody ever told us what. One day they were partners, the next day they weren’t speaking.” Carol’s eyes narrowed in suspicion of the whole mess around us and honestly? I didn’t blame her.
