Fighting Fate
Breaking into peals of laughter he tossed a collection of bears into the air as I grimaced.
“I bet your room was worse when you were young!” I countered.
“I needed more of this glitter in my life, a lot of sports posters in my room,” he smirked, cuddling a big teddy bear sarcastically. In his huge arms it looked tiny, it was actually half the size of me. Adam had won it for me at a carnival.
“Come on, let’s get changed and get this done with,” I sighed, pulling out a long purple gown with a thigh-high split. My mother would hate it. Perfect.
