Fiction Writing Contests 2023 Novels & Stories

I am thinking of perhaps joining the Genre Carnival contest although I need to have at least 300K reads or even one million reads to win (I am still a long way from that). But here is hoping! So I wish to share with you some of the stories that I wish to work on and polish up for this contest. Please let me know which one you would like to read the most in the comment section. I will ONLY publish 1 story at a time (unless there are 48 hours in a day). The story that gets the most votes from you will be published and updated for FREE during the month of May 2022 (how to read free books in the Good Novel app will be explained down, down below). My manager told me about this competition all over the States when I went to submit my draft to her, it’s about writing an original novel on any genre the writer prefers. Whoever wins—I think there will be one from each genre—will get their book published nationwide and sign a five-year contract with one of the famous publication houses.” I explained. “Ah! That’s great! You decided on what to write yet?” he asked curiously, laying his head on my lap as he did so. “I could give you—”

said Betty. She unzipped her handbag and took out a flyer Marietta had given her. "Look, this is the competition I'm talking about. It's a short story contest that will be announced to the public in a few days. "However, this contest is a last-minute thing being held in Marietta's honor, so the timing is very rushed. They want submissions next month. "Take a look and see if you want to participate in it. Your short story is only about a few thousand words long anyway."

I ask, starring into her dark brown eyes. "Well, the fiction competition has a specific topic." She says, getting up and walking over to a filing cabinet. Miss Edwards is about 5' 5" tall and very well proportioned, with a thin waist, flat stomach and a tight, curvy ass. You'd have to write a short story with a main character who is struggling with a moral dilemma." She says, handing me the entry form and rules. The genre for the contest is Romance and Tragedy, and so far, the only story that fitted that category is the one I'm currently writing. The deadline for this is two months from now. I looked at my story and began to calculate the days before I can finish it. Again, I was snapped out of my reverie when Xander leaned in t look at my work. His face's so close to mine that I can smell his perfume.

"Well, they were asking me when will you submit entry for the upcoming Novel Contest." "I haven't really thought about it, I still have 3 months before the contest. I'll tell them myself." "They also told me you can pre read some entries from the website, some already posted their novel entry. I think it will be better, you might come up with better plot if you'll learn from them"

My shift will end soon. And I still I have to finish my final draft for the writing contest! It’s due next week. I thought. I joined the “Writer's Luck” contest to win $700.
