by Christina Perri played, a song that felt like it was written for Marion and me. The deejay then handed the microphone over to Anastasia. “Okay, so the cake is not only a wedding cake but also a gender reveal cake. I’ve known if I would have a goddaughter or son for the longest, but now everyone else will know too.” Everyone cheered excitedly as Anastasia gestured for Marion and me to step up to the cake. Flashes from cameras as people took photos and recordings sounded off as Anastasia handed me the cutting knife. I didn’t care what I had, so long as it was healthy. Taking a deep and dramatic breath that made Marion shake his head at me, I pushed the thick knife down into the cake that ha

I don't plan on eating cake at our wedding. — What do you mean you won't eat cake? — Luna raised an eyebrow, clearly offended. — It's our wedding! — I’ve been eating cake since I was a kid. I know exactly what to expect. It's sweet, it has batter, frosting… it’s always the same. She scoffed, crossing her arms with that look that said she wasn't going to let this go. — You are weird. I don't trust people who don't like cake… — she muttered under her breath. Then she raised the fork in my direction. — Open your mouth.

I asked gently. She nodded, but I wasn’t convinced. “Then why didn’t you eat any cake? I want the truth, sweet girl.” Her mismatched eyes—one piercing blue, the other dark as midnight—lifted to mine. She whispered, “I don’t like strawberry cake.” My heart sank. Strawberry was Luna’s favorite. Chocolate was Selene’s. I’d let them submit the order together to the kitchen staff, and somehow only Luna’s choice had been honored. Before guilt could crush me further, Dido reappeared, carrying a small, beautifully decorated chocolate cake.

“As for my healer, Raja, I know she hates chocolate that is why I baked a banana cake for her instead since I found a lot of it in the kitchen.” “You gotta be kidding me,” Fiona said, “Why didn’t you tell me you baked a different flavor? I need to taste it.” She said as she stood up from the stool that she was sitting on and headed straight for the fridge. “How many flavors did you bake?” Merik asked as he took a bite from the chocolate cake in front of him. “What the actual fuck!” He said shouting. “Manners,” Fiona said as she turned to face him, with the banana cake in one hand. “Apologize,” Fiona insisted.

I suppose it was nice to see that this woman’s blatant question took us both aback. Fiona. So, that was her name. It suddenly clicked in the back of my mind why this woman seemed so familiar. Fiona was the Alpha daughter of Luna Caroline's pack. And I suppose, theoretically, she was Caroline’s niece. From what I heard about her through the ongoing lines of gossip that circulated through the staff, Fiona often liked to pick fights with other Alpha daughters. Many had commented in the past that she wasn't very attractive. Perhaps it was her aggressive personality that made her so.

Wilson shake his head in disbelief. "I knew it. That is why he looked familiar" someone exclaimed in amazement, earning herself everyone's curious attention. "He is the famed Casanova, Bienley Cullen from the medical faculty" The echoes of astonishment resonated in the hushed atmosphere, it seemed as though the entire food court had been trapped to a realm where only the beauty of the Casanova's smile held sway. ****TBC****

"Oh, that’s cool to know. I hope this one will be better than the one for the trials. My child loves to eat cake and other pastries a lot. “Okay, I’ll do that, Luna.” “Anna, I was up at night trying to search for different cake designs you would love. Immediately you dropped the call; that’s when I began my search, and I picked out five best that I think you would love.” Cassandra picked up an iPad on her desk and began to go through it, then turned it to show Anna. Anna took the iPad from her, and we scanned through the pictures. The cakes were so beautiful; they were gigantic with a lot of layers. “I can’t seem to pick any of the cakes. They are all so beautiful.” Anna cooed.

Some of our neighbors who we passes by greeted me politely but the pity in their eyes were so obvious, it made me feel even more awful. “Yes! Mama said it’ll be next week. Please be there, Nina.” She pouted once more. “There won’t be no cake but I think Mama will cook spaghetti!” “I’m sorry, Alicia. If only I have money right now, I would’ve shoulder the cake for you.” I caressed her long silky black hair. “Don’t worry, I’ll make it up to you next time. You’re turning ten, right? You’re a big girl now.” “Yes, I am!” she then flashed me a proud smile. I giggled at her. She’s growing so fast. I bet three years from now she’s gonna have tons of suitors at their door. Alicia is such a beautiful

Charlotte picked up a small round decorative cake covered in pink frosting, adorned with slices of strawberries and lemons. Pointing her eyes across the table, Charlotte smiled when she spotted the starry-eyed expression Luna’s brown-haired little friend was giving the cake. Knowing she would be unable to sample this entire collection, Charlotte sat the dessert in front of Maria. "Your name is Maria, right? Why don't you help me sample this collection of cake!" Such a request instantly earned the woman praise of approval from Maria, who nodded her head in a hurry before reaching out to sample the delicious cake. Once a piece was in her mouth, Maria felt her eyes become watery. 'So fluffy and

The room to the left was decorated in pink and the other with greyish blue. Normally I don't like the idea of sharing the room but this room was different. It was arranged so comfortably, so it didn't bother me anymore. Stacey & Phoebe was not disturbed at all by the idea of sharing the room. We all were tired and stressed out with all these new experiences. The headboard has not given us any schedule for the first week.
