Fionna And Cake Novels & Stories

she lifted the box slightly with a sheepish grin, “the cake.” Laura’s eyes lit up. “Oh my gosh! That’s adorable.” She leaned forward to peek at the box and gave a playful gasp. “Did you make it yourself?” “Marina..our boss at the café—did. Chocolate with pink frosting. It’s all she wanted.” “That sounds amazing. I’d take that over any overpriced bakery cake any day,” Laura said with a wink. Then she stepped back and waved her hand gently. “Well, go! Get out of here before that frosting melts.”

I didn't want to waste my time on someone who didn't matter, but I forgot some people only learn when they were hit harder. The next day, Fiona stopped me just as I arrived at the company's entrance. She was holding a gift box in her hand. "I made your childhood favorite—hazelnut cake. You should try it and see if it still tastes the same." I fiddled with the string on the cake box, spinning it back and forth. "Must've been a lot of work, huh?"

She was their watchful eye to make sure I wouldn’t betray them. “Kael,” I called after him, my voice soft but steady. “You don’t trust me, do you?” He turned back, his fingers tilted my chin up as he brushed his lips against mine, a brief, ghostly touch that left my skin tingling. “What I think doesn’t matter, Emma. You need to prove yourself to the pack.” Then he was gone. Moments later, a young blonde girl entered, her eyes wide with nervous energy as she curtsied awkwardly. “I’m Cassidy, miss. I’ll be your…your maid.”

I could see the countdown above a person’s head when they had already decided to leave their partner. The day my father’s countdown hit zero, he slapped a lawyer’s letter on the breakfast table and walked out on my mother and me. The day my best friend’s countdown hit zero, she finally threw her parasite of a boyfriend out of her apartment and changed the locks before sunset. That was why I’d always been terrified of seeing a countdown above my fiancé, Lucian Bellandi. Luckily, for seven years by his side, the space above his head had stayed clean. Lucian was the youngest Don the Bellandi family had ever seen. He owned the docks, the casinos, and half the South Side’s dirty money, yet he sa

Tony said gruffly, then winked down at Gemma. “Please, guys. I just ate one of Mom’s cinnamon rolls,” Kyle groaned. “I bet you ate the middle one too, didn’t you?” Gemma teased. “Don’t worry, she made a whole cake pan.” “Good. The middle ones are my favorite ones.” “Too bad Dad ate the other one,” Kyle replied. Gemma let out an exaggerated groan and pretended to faint. “But I need that one," she whined. "It has the most frosting, and they’re never as done as the ones on the outside,”

I opened the box and stuck the candles into the cake. From the moment the cake entered the room, Fifi’s eyes were glued to it, her joy obvious and impossible to hide. “Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you…” [Mia… I’m seriously crying.] [The cake was prepared by the production team, right? But Mia didn’t ask them to prepare one. So is the crew just thoughtful, or is this scripted?] [It’s been scripted from the start. The show is hyping Mia up with this all-capable persona. Aren’t they afraid of being exposed?]

Sheila offered a strained smile, reluctantly clinking glasses with him, then immediately turned away, eager to pull out her phone and call Killian with the good news. Just then, however, the lights in the entire banquet hall suddenly went out. “Ah!” Sheila, like everyone else, jumped in surprise. Then, a single spotlight flared, illuminating the entrance to the banquet hall. Sheila and the crowd looked towards the light. A festive and exquisitely decorated cake was being rolled in. A four-tiered custom cake glided slowly forward. Its cream frosting replicated the phoenix pattern from "Phoenix Reborn", and perched atop were two Q-version figurines, modeled after the drama's main characters, h

Then I’d called Sienna. “Change her,” I’d said simply. “I’m leaving.” And I had. The bell rings loudly below. The crowd erupts. Enzo jumps to his feet, punching the air. “YES!” Sienna spins toward me, grinning. “She won!” “She’s starting off well,” Enzo says, still buzzing. “I give her five days from now, and she’ll be more expensive.” Sienna turns from the glass first, folding her arms. “Is it just me,” she says slowly, “or does Cake not actually know who Elianna really is?”

Everyone’s head turned towards the voice. Luna walked up to the large cake with a smile on her face. She joined her hand with Claudia’s that was holding the cake knife. “Grandma, let's count down together and cut the cake,” she said with a smile. Claudia nodded with a smile. “Three, two, one!” They pressed the knife into the cake on the last count. Claudia then let Luna do the rest of the cutting, showing just how much she liked Luna. Rhea was shocked and confused. She had locked the door. How on earth did Luna get out?

"I just gave YOU an IDEA and the first time that came to your mind is about the wig’s COLOR!? Are you being serious right now?!” I flinched at the tone of her voice. "I know. I heard you so...yay!!! FELISHA HUGHES!! THE DAUGHTER OF SHREK AND FIONA WAS BORN!! But pink? Really?!" I shivered. When I looked up, I almost screamed in fright when I saw the look of fury on Kaila's face. You could totally imagine a fire in the background by how she looks. I gulp. She stormed to me and grabbed my arms. She hauled me up. "W-wait! What are you gonna do to me?"
