On your knees, my student! 18+

On your knees, my student! 18+

Jubril Zainabkneel before me
he pointed to three students who opened their books and rustled their papers loudly, it was one of the guys I had dated in my first year, Mark, and, the young Adrian who always had a woman on his arm, and his girlfriend, flavour of the month. They humbly bowed their heads as they picked up their books and bags and walked humbly and shamefully to the lecture hall at the end of the hall. He turned to me, saying, “The answer, Miss Cross.” This was the first shot fired. He was trying to frustrate me out of his class, but he would have to try harder than that because there was no way I would bow down to him. The cases were very familiar, as were the facts of it, but the difference was this: one w

the legal system, or the abuse of power," I wound down. There was a knock on the open door. Holy Shit! It was Nicole Lawless, Attorney at God. "Who are you?" Brock spun on the newcomer. "Hey Nicole," I yawned. "Hey Cáel," she answered. To the rest, "I'm Nicole Lawless with [the Legion of Undead Litigators] and I'm taking over Mr. Nyilas' case." "Wait!" I raised my hand. "I need to know something first." There was a pause. "Nicole, are you wearing underwear?" "Sweet God, you are exhausted," Nicole compassionately noted. "No, I'm not." Underwear.

Let Me Go, Mr. Hill!

Let Me Go, Mr. Hill!

“Catherine, I know you’ve given up all hopes of winning because you’re dealing with Eldest Young Master Hill, but aren’t you being too merciless to Logan Law? You’re not even willing to spend a little more money to hire a better lawyer. 2,000 dollars, tsk. If you’re that reluctant, I would’ve lent you money. If you find such a lowly lawyer, even if you’re not worried about embarrassing yourself, you’ll only drop Eldest Young Master Hill’s standing.” “You’ve misunderstood.” Catherine smiled faintly. “I just thought that to deal with a lawyer like Shaun Hill, there’s no need to hire someone too expensive. After all, we’ll win anyway, so it doesn’t matter who we find.” “What? Am I hearing thing

One of the best book on this app. Loved loved it. Read it three times already and am not repeating it anymore only because I know the story by heart. Second to "when his eyes opened - Eliot and Avery"

The Lawless Biker Alpha and the Fearless Lawyer

The Lawless Biker Alpha and the Fearless Lawyer

All three of them turned their gaze to me, their expressions shifting to one of realization. “Oh no,” I said, realizing the situation was worse than I thought. “You want me to represent myself?” “You're a brilliant lawyer,” Kane replied, stepping closer, ready to make his case. “You know how to put together arguments, find the weak spots in legal reasoning, and turn evidence into powerful tools against your opponents.” “I’m just a corporate lawyer who focuses on contracts and mergers!” I argued back. “The most intense thing I've done in a courtroom is argue over intellectual property. I don't know anything about supernatural laws or how to deal with magical judges who could wipe me out with

SHADOWS OF THE ALPHA

SHADOWS OF THE ALPHA

The crescent under my shirt warmed, as if nodding at the architecture of the moment: circle within circle, law within law. “I am Clara,” I said, because talk must begin where the enemy can’t rename you. “I stand here as the Holdfast’s heir and as something else I am only now getting the hang of. A man took me with shackles he called legal. He put blood in a bowl and called it a house. He set a boy beside me and called him law. I bled. I refused. My pack burned and didn’t break. We broke the shackles instead.” Ronan laughed softly and let the sound carry. An envoy standing nearest him—a slick man with ink under his nails—made a note.

Too Late To Beg

Too Late To Beg

His hands flattened on the desk between us. "Mrs. Whitmore, it doesn't matter if this is my first case." His voice was steady. Certain. "I graduated top of my class. I'm passionate about justice and doing what's right. Even if my opponent is James Whitmore, I believe no one is above the law. And eventually, he will have to answer to it." I looked at him for a long time. He believed every word he was saying. "I'm glad to hear that," I said quietly. "Every other lawyer I spoke to today seems to have sold their conscience."

SWEET REVENGE (He Betrayed Me, Now He Must Pay)

SWEET REVENGE (He Betrayed Me, Now He Must Pay)

CHAPTER 99 Spencer’s POV Clara and I sat across from the lawyer in his office, the air thick with quiet tension and strategy. The room smelled faintly of polished wood and paperwork, the kind of place where decisions were made that could either ruin lives or save them. He adjusted his glasses slightly as he looked down at the documents in front of him, then back up at us with a measured expression. “Well,” he began carefully, “the plan you’ve proposed isn’t exactly foolproof. There’s a possibility she might choose not to react the way you’re expecting. If she keeps her composure, this could fall apart.”

he asked, his voice controlled but firm. Clara immediately straightened, her expression shifting into the calculated mask she wore in public, the one that demanded respect. “Yes, that’s me,” she replied, her tone a mixture of caution and dominance. “And you are?” “My name is Lawrence Hale. I am your legal counsel,” he said, placing his briefcase on the nearest table and opening it with deliberate movements. He pulled out papers, organized and precise, and glanced at the officers in the room. “I understand you have questions regarding your arrest. I am here to address them.”

The Wife He Threw Away

The Wife He Threw Away

A drink appeared in front of me moments later, and I accepted it with a quiet thanks. The conversations around me blurred together eventually. Legal gossip, Victoria slander, office jokes. And for the first time in a very long time— I was starting to feel like myself again. Not Lucian Dhark’s ex-wife. Not the woman publicly humiliated online. Not the infertile wife who couldn’t produce an heir. Just Claire Moreau. A lawyer— a good one. Maybe even an exceptional one. The realization settled strangely inside me. Then suddenly— my phone vibrated.

Author I'm really enjoying your story. I apologize for my bluntness with the reader who uses letters instead of actual words but I'm 'old school' where you say it up front and don't beat around the bush. I believe not using words but a bunch of nonsensical letters is rude and insulting !

I Ruined My Ex-Husband and It Was Worth It

I Ruined My Ex-Husband and It Was Worth It

‎Marcus ‎ ‎I sat in the worn leather chair across from Mr. Raymond Kline’s desk, my leg bouncing with nervous energy as I watched him flip through the notes I had thrown together. ‎The lawyer’s office was small, messy, and smelled like old coffee and stale cigarettes. Kline wasn’t some high-end attorney with a fancy suit. He was the kind of lawyer who worked in the shadows...the kind who didn’t mind getting his hands dirty if the money was right. That was exactly why I had chosen him.
