I just happened to be that person. I wasted no time heading to Walmart to pick up the necessary items needed for a young girl’s first period. I also got the items to make my famous baked s’mores. They always picked me up when my period came on, so I hoped it would do the same for Kala. I bought her a few balloons, a heating pad, and a few other snacks before making my way to the checkout. Just as I was loading my items on the conveyer belt, my phone vibrated in my hand.
