- Familiar Stranger

I clicked the shutter too forcefully. The sound made him glance my way. He looked directly at me—and smiled politely. A tight, impersonal smile. The kind you give to strangers. Of course he didn’t recognise me. Not with this face—a stranger’s face, reshaped by surgeons after the accident had stolen everything. “You, okay?” someone asked. " Yeah,” I lied. “Just light-headed.”, I blinked. Tom, my colleague, handed me a glass of water. “Here. You look pale. Take this , it will help .” Tom spoke while he handed a glass of water

The Stranger's Baby

The Stranger's Baby

“What do you mean?” “I need something strong.” Melissa dropped her handbag on the arm of the couch and made her way into the kitchen with her stained blazer. She dumped the blazer into the washing machine, then went in search of the strongest drink they had in the fridge. Shutting the door of the fridge, Melissa came face to face with Emily. She sighed. “I bumped into him.” “Who?” Emily frowned. “I don’t know. I don’t know his name. The stranger.” “What stranger? Of course, we just moved to this city, everyone is a stranger.”

Very nice & sweet book. The FL is a bit difficult but both she and the ML have been hurt before so their road is a bit bumpy. Sometimes a bit confusing when it's not clear who's speaking. I expected a lot more scheming but it was enough. Both are spicy, have lovely kids and Damien is the best!

Pregnant for A Stranger

Moreover, in his story, they came from a fairly large country although he did not clearly know where that country was. "No need." Arthur took a breath. "As long as they don't interfere with our lives, we don't need to know where they come from. Because sometimes, we don't know how hard they've covered up their previous lives and how hard they've tried to be who they are now. We work with them professionally, no need to know their background. You remember, Floyd taught me that." Wilson heard that and nodded quickly. Yes, they could be close, but for starters it was better to be safe.

Identical Strangers: Once Upon An Empire

Triple J grabbed the entire bottle from the counter and began to empty its contents in his stomach like it was water. He was so angry and he knew the only way of getting rid of it was by drinking alcohol. How could his parents choose a total stranger over him? Someone they had only known for two months? Fine, he was their son… but so? That changes nothing. He still isn’t a part of the family and he shouldn’t be let in, he doesn’t even want to be a part of it.

Chasing my Luna

Chasing my Luna

Their expression was calm but tinged with urgency. “You’ve come far,” the stranger said, their voice layered with echoes that reverberated through the very fabric of the room. “But your journey is far from over.” “I’m tired of riddles,” Jessica shot back, her voice rising slightly. “Tell me what I need to do.” The stranger tilted their head slightly, as though considering the question. “Do? There’s nothing left to *do*. Only to decide.” Before she could respond, the books began to fall from the shelves, each landing open at her feet. Pages flipped rapidly, revealing fragments of lives lived and lost, choices made and undone. Some showed moments of triumph; others depicted failures so profoun

Daddy stranger

Daddy stranger

Now the world felt like it had cracked open just slightly—enough to let something unfamiliar seep in. Crystal sat on the low stone wall near the marketplace, legs swinging back and forth as she watched the village buzz with activity. Drums echoed faintly from the square. Vendors shouted prices. Children ran past her in clouds of dust and laughter. And there he was again. The daddy stranger. He stood near the elders, tall and unmistakable, his presence commanding without him trying. His clothes were too clean for the village, his posture too straight. He listened more than he spoke, but when he did speak, people leaned in.

Midnight Between Us

Midnight Between Us

The fracture overhead began to tremble, sending violent ripples through the sky as the distant stars flickered like dying candles. The Stranger stepped closer to the edge of the rift, looking directly at Ava, then across the invisible lines of the network to Luca, and then back again. For the very first time since his arrival, genuine, unfiltered fear appeared in his dark eyes. "You remember the love," the Stranger whispered, his voice softening into something tragic. "You remember the romance, the promises, and the beautiful tragedy of finding each other in the dark. But you haven't remembered the betrayal." The word hit the air like a gunshot, echoing with a violent, jarring finality.

Dreams

Dreams

Warm brown rimmed beautiful blue eyes with dark lashes that lined them, making them stand out. Then he was gone. They were all gone. I tried to recall his face but couldn't find it. I realized that I had stopped talking in my discovery of my stranger. I looked up at Veda who was attentively gazing at me. “Sorry, I did it again, didn't I?” I asked anxiously. “Yeah, what was it this time?” “I've never seen the stranger before.” “Yeah, you said that. You said, 'All of my life, I have seen Laylan, Artimous, Greagan and Ivy but never the stranger.'” Veda recited back to me.
