“Wow, Jo, that’s beautiful, I heard Lily’s comment. The Butterfly brooch, I admired the other day was nicely displayed in front of me. I looked again inside the box for a note, a card, but there wasn’t one. I took the brooch out of the box and looked closely. The engraved message left me speechless “Spread your wings and fly away but always come back to me”.

With her playful nature and twinkling laughter, she led us through a labyrinth of sparkling crystals and shimmering streams. Sparkle guided us to the edge of a breathtaking waterfall, where the water cascaded down in a dazzling display of colors. She beckoned us to follow her as she leaped into the air, transforming into a radiant butterfly. We watched in awe as she fluttered gracefully, leading us to a hidden meadow filled with vibrant flowers.

White clouds moved above us, dancing for us and morphing into shapes right before our very eyes. Rae pointed. “Look. It was the size of a key holder and it had the circular iron thing stuck to it so Kaylee did not have to guess what it was but she liked it already. No girl can resist that, it was really pretty.

The sky changed, and it was no longer dark. The moon shined bright and blinded me momentarily. My eyes adjusted and fell upon the figure in front of me. She was not my wolf, nor my witch. There isn’t one—at least, not yet. But then, as if summoned by my words, a shimmer appears in the air. Blue and silver light coalesces, swirling and folding itself into delicate wings. Suddenly, before me, a butterfly materializes, impossibly vivid, its colors gleaming like polished gemstones. It hovers a few feet away, its movements graceful and deliberate.
