All Routes Leads to Chaos
In the afternoon, I was discharged and returned home, intending to close my eyes and wait quietly for the system to come back.
Just then, the newly hired maid entered the room.
Nervously wringing her hands, she said in a simple, honest tone, “I’ve just finished cooking. Please go ahead and eat, Miss.”
I had no appetite, but I didn’t want to make her uncomfortable, so I replied honestly, “I’m not hungry right now. You can go ahead.”
She hurriedly waved her hands.
“Your brother messaged me. He told me to make sure you eat,” she explained.
