Found 100 Million In My Rented Apartment Novels & Stories

Zayden wasn’t to be found either. I tried to brush it off and Zayden too, treating it as someone from Eden noir, but my gut didn't believe me. I booked an Uber and then went home, I went through my backyard to avoid my landlord. I owed six months’ rent and he said I either pay up or leave. I stripped off my clothes and put on a robe, my stomach growled and all the thought went down the drain. I had only thirty dollars to my name, and I opened the fridge to see one can of soda, leftover rice that looked questionable, and half-used paste-tomato.

I quickly changed back into my jeans and hoodie in my cubicle, gathered my things and left the club. It was cold outside, so I quickly called a cab and got in, giving him my house address. As the cab began to move, I counted all the money I had made tonight, from my wage at the coffee shop to the tips I had gotten tonight. If I added the bundle of cash I took from Nikolai's private room, combined with my savings at home, I discovered that we finally had enough to settle our rent, get a decent amount of groceries and even make a down payment on a new apartment. I was ecstatic, but that mood quickly faded as I thought back to the events of earlier.

For the past three years, I had been sponsoring a low-income student until he got into a top-tier university. To ensure that he could focus on his studies, I agreed to continue providing 1,500 dollars monthly to cover his cost of living. Less than a month after he started university, he texted me requesting to pay the rent for an apartment next to the university. I thought there was something wrong with my eyes. The text was quickly followed by a voice note. "My girlfriend doesn't like the fact that there are no private bathrooms in the dormitory. I've already found the perfect apartment. Help us pay the rent. It's only 1,200 dollars a month." When I did not reply, he said, "My girlfrien

' 'They are the Lawrence's. 'Sorry, nobody by that name lives here.' He backed up and closed the door. But then he opened it up. 'I rented my home out yesterday to a couple. Mr. and Mrs. Smith. They made the $2,000 deposit. I just received the $5,000 day rental f*e. I asked how to send the deposit. They said keep it as a tip.' He closed the door. 'What the fuck Dad?' I called Crystal. I had it on speaker.

Because apparently, despite all the riches sitting in my account like a sleepy golden dragon, I still couldn't hand my landlord a ten-dollar bill without accidentally offering to buy the entire apartment building and three parking lots with it. I had one problem: I needed rent money. Real, physical, bite-sized rent money that wouldn’t trigger a bank-wide fraud investigation or start a rumor that I was laundering money for the Illuminati. So I got to work. I tore through old bags like a raccoon on a sugar rush. Dug into faded wallets with ancient receipts and stale mints. Checked my coat pockets, jeans I hadn’t worn since my “broke college girl” era, and the forgotten space behind the radiato

When we finished, we immediately went to the area close to the company I'll be working in to find nearby apartments. I filmed the whole apartment hunting experience. We looked into 4 apartments for the day and called it quits. There were a two that I considered and two that I didn't. The rents were all below $1000 and the deposit was around $10,000 like I had in mind but the two I didn't consider looked old and I wasn't going to settle for that. The two that I considered were not my taste but its still pretty good. Still, we'll have a part two of the hunt.

“Common shut your dirty mouth, how sure are you? I still stand on a paternity test that has to be conducted and that’s my final say.Period!” "I understand now..." After five days of hard work, Amanda had finally settled into her new apartment. She had tidied it up, and they could finally relax. The apartment, located in the city centre, was quite spacious, featuring four bedrooms, sitting rooms, and even two rooms for nannies. The monthly rent amounted to $60,000.

My $1,200 won’t stretch, and without a job, I was totally screwed. I walk back to the subway as I fought back tears because crying wouldn't get me a job, and it definitely will not pay my rent. Back in my soon to be old apartment, I sink to the floor, boxes stacked around me. I was out of options, out of time. I scroll listings again, desperate, and find a sublet in a rough part of town—$600 a month, no deposit, a room in a crumbling building. The advery screams “last resort,” but that’s me now. I call the number, and the landlord told me that it’s available, no questions asked.

"You've remembered my tastes all these years… I'd almost forgotten them myself. "By the way, what rent did you say you were paying?" I shifted the topic suddenly. "Guess." "Four hundred?" I offered a tentative low estimate. "You'll never guess—zero!" I froze. "No rent? This place isn't haunted or hiding some secret room, right?" I joked. She looked serious. "There are no problems with the apartment. I guarantee it. No rent… because it's mine." "I can pay market rate—or a friend's discount if you prefer." I pulled out my phone, pretending to transfer the money.

“Not the ones sitting comfortably at the top of the League… the ones underneath them. The ones who feel overlooked.” “The ambitious ones,” I added. “Exactly.” I smiled. Ambitious people were predictable. They always wanted more. Before Jacob could say anything else, my phone buzzed. I glanced down and saw Mei’s name flash across the screen. I answered immediately. “Mei.” Her voice came through clear and professional. “John, I wanted to update you on the acquisitions.” “Go ahead.” “We’ve secured two new apartment complexes,” she began. “The first building has nearly two hundred units. Each apartment rents for approximately five thousand dollars a month.”
