Found 100 Million In My Rented Apartment 소설 & 이야기

I wiped my tears with the back of my palm as I headed out of the apartment, not before picking up the file, and as I stepped outside through the gate, my phone pinged with a text. An alert of five hundred thousand dollars was displayed on the screen when I checked it. I was still staring at the alert when a text from my aunt came in. ‘This should be enough to start a new life. Good luck’

Then I saw a placard right in front of the entrance which read: One-room apartment is available for rent. Ha! I didn't even have to work to find a place of shelter even though I knew scouting for money to pay for the house rent would be hard but I was very thankful to have walked my way into my third test and I was sure the universe was definitely going to help me secure the house. All I had to was to find the next, right woman to sexually engage myself with! ***

Sure, there are only a few necessities like couches, bed cots, and a stove in the kitchen, but the best part of this place is the balcony from the master bedroom that overlooks the city. Tyler provided a rent reduction, which made the rent more affordable for me, which I am grateful for. But I need to find work soon. I checked the balance in my bank account a few days ago, and as expected, there isn't enough money. I'm not earning anything now that I'm not going to work. This should have been obvious to me. The money I used up until now came from savings I had when I turned 18 in Worcester. When I arrived in New York, I was able to transfer that amount of money to Scarlet's account, which sh

Mia dragged the last heavy box up the narrow staircase, sweat sticking her tank top to her back. Her arms burned and her cheap sneakers squeaked against the old wooden floor. At twenty-one, broke, and freshly dumped, this apartment was her only real option. The rent was impossibly low for the size — almost too good to be true. The landlord had barely asked any questions before handing over the keys with a nervous laugh. “ Just… respect your roommate’s privacy,” he had muttered before hurrying away.

A few minutes had passed before they stopped and Jarvis spoke again. "No matter how much money we save, it will never be enough to cover our living expenses and allowances, particularly if we rent a house," he said. In fact, I agree with him. There are certainly a lot more rental properties available. Even an apartment is fine because there will only be the three of us living there.

WARNING!!! SEXUAL ASSULT IN THIS CHAPTER!!!! In just 3 days it will be my birthday, I couldn’t wait to get out of this hell hole. I had finally saved up just enough money to get me a tiny apartment I had found online. I didn’t have a phone like most teenagers did so I had to use the pack library to do some research on the human town I would be living in. I found a small one bedroom one bath for 200$ a month. It was above a bar, which was scary but it was the cheapest thing I could find with the small amount of money I had saved..

Most people could barely afford to rent them, let alone own one. Jenny sank into silence and decided to only discuss it further when she met with Helga and Amy. Half an hour later, Melissa parked the car in front of a low-rise apartment. When she walked into the place with Jenny, they realized it was a rental apartment with many tenants. Soon, Melissa led Jenny to the door of the unit and knocked on it. The door opened, and they saw the face of a woman. They had not introduced themselves, but Jenny immediately recognized the woman because of her resemblance to Helga.

Then, I started walking. I found a cheap apartment in a building that should have been torn down. It was just one room with a kitchen sink that leaked and a window that wouldn't close all the way. The landlord was a short man with a large stomach who came to the door in his undershirt. He looked at me, at Matteo on my chest, at my single bag, and at the 4,000 euros I had hidden inside the lining of my coat. "How long do you want it for?" he asked.

I admitted. She chuckled. “What does that even mean?” “Remember that friend of mine I spoke to you about?” “Yes, the one you weren’t sure if to take her in or gift money.” “Yeah, that one. So, I gave her 500k.” I said the last word cautiously with the fear of her coming for my head, but she didn’t say anything to my surprise. That prompted me to continue. “She called me while I was running to say she has rented a ten thousand monthly penthouse and paid a downpayment for two years.”

One thousand four hundred dollars. I dropped the tag as if it had burned me. That was two months of rent in my old life. That was a year of my mother’s medication. And here it was, hanging casually in a closet like it was a disposable item. I felt a sudden, violent urge to run. To go back to the subway and the heater that rattled at 3 AM. At least there, I knew who Elena Rossi was. Here, I was a ghost in a very expensive haunting. I sat on the edge of the silk bed and pulled out my phone. A notification from the bank popped up, bright and cold.
