Thalia looked at them and for a split second there was sadness in her eyes, but she recovered quickly, “That sounds like a really beautiful love story for a telenovela.”
“What is that?” I asked.
“It’s a Spanish TV show. Kind of like a soap opera, except with an ending.” She said.
My mom laughed, “Our story probably could be a soap opera.”
“I honestly don’t watch TV. I’m usually busy working on something back at the pack.” I said.
