I swallowed hard, looking around for something that would help me out, but all I could see were tall trees. “Yore and Lola….” Someone whistled, and those two ran to that person. My eyes went around when I sighted them jump at Luther, throwing themselves in his arms like babies. “Goddammit!” Luther laughed when he collapsed onto the ground flat on his back due to their enormous weight. I gazed at another Jaguar that was smaller than the first one. Those two licked Luther’s face and purred. “You two are not babies anymore!” Luther rubbed the back of their neck and those snuggled in his arms, scratching his bare chest.

But his eyes were the worst part—piercing, fiery amber eyes with slit pupils that glowed in the dark fog. A purebred Dragon. The guard leader stepped forward, bowing low. "We brought the Fox, Your Highness. Just as Master Julian promised." The Dragon King did not say a word. He walked toward me, his leather boots crunching against the snow. His heavy predator aura hit the clearing so hard that even Julian's guards stepped back in fear. My Fox ears pinned flat against my head instinctively, my whole body trembling against the ground. He stopped right in front of me, looking down at my dirty clothes, my wrapped hand, and my bruised face.

A loud growl sounded from the far side of the house, and the sound of heavy paws hitting the marble floor followed. “Mommy’s home,” I called out and walked to the pet food cabin, took out some goodies, and turned to find gold eyes staring at me. I smiled and walked to my fur baby, a beast on four heavy paws and a whole 300 pounds of muscles. Drogon was a six-year-old tiger I had adopted, after rescuing him from the wildfire in Australia. He was a big baby with heavy muscles, snow-white fur with midnight black stripes, and I loved him more than life itself.

Chad's eyes narrowed in surprise when he noticed the nine tails behind the fox. "A nine-tailed fox—Third Granny of the fox family!" Abruptly, the weakened Lord Fifth forced his appearance. His massive dragon body enveloped Chad as he spoke weakly.
