Novel's POV I didn't sleep early; I was too consumed by the terminology of wolves. My mind raced as I memorized the hierarchy: The Alpha: The Ruler of the Pack. The Beta: Second in command. The Gamma: Elite, rare warriors. The Omega: The majority of the pack. The Luna: The Alpha’s Mate. The Anchor: A Human Mate. The Mate Bond: The supernatural pull between souls. Shift: Transforming into wolf form. Mind-link: Telepathic communication.

“Then you can always come to me if you want to know more.” I smiled faintly. “What’s an Alpha?” Her brows lifted. “You don’t know that either?” I shook my head. She nodded slowly. “The Alpha is the leader of the pack. The strongest, most dominant wolf. He protects us, leads us, makes decisions. He’s our king.” she explained. “And his mate...well, she becomes our Luna. The queen of the pack. Once she’s found offcourse.” Her gaze lingered on me just a little too long. She already knew.

Because of the rogue problem Mahnoor had been so busy that she was not able to visit or call Badar the whole week. “Who on earth is so busy that they cannot find time to call their mate let alone visit?” Snow, Mahnoor’s wolf said. “Well some of us are busy, unlike you. If you remember correctly I am the Alpha of the Alphas so I have many responsibilities, plus the rogue problem is keeping me a lot busier than before.” Mahnoor said to Snow.

" The kid shot his head back, his brows frowned with confusion so I repeated my question and insisted. He lifted his shoulders. "N-No I don't have a clue... however, I do recall overhearing the male is an Alpha; he and the girl comes from the same but t-that's all I know." I nodded, my brows knitted with a frown. I struggled to keep my wolf under control, his anxiety to know more washing over me. "These two wolves, do you happen to know more about them? Perhaps what they look like?

Said a man, as he slowly came down the stairs, his voice reverberated around the cell. "I'm glad you're finally awake, I could have sworn you were dead," He smiled at her as he came into view, standing in front of her cell. I could tell that he was a high-ranking wolf from the way he carried himself. He wasn't an Alpha, I would have been able to sense that if he had been, but I knew he was most likely a Beta or a Delta, one of the Alpha's second or third in command. The Alphas were the strongest of any wolf pack, they were also the highest and purest of any bloodline, a position which they were born it. But, in this story, not all of the wolf rank will be mentioned. Alpha: Alphas are the leader of the pack. They usually have more superior abilities than the other wolves. They control the pack and they make rules for the pack members. One Alpha needs to know the other packs' Alpha to make several agreements with the other packs to avoid war or events that are not good for their pack. Their Mates are called the Female Alpha or the Luna. (modern stories of werewolves call the female alpha Luna)
