“Nice to meet you too, Amber,” Elsa answered, reaching out her hand. I shook it firmly, her hand was ice cold, like she hadn’t shifted in days or hadn’t eaten. She probably watched her weight because she was an actress and a model after all.
She-wolves like Elsa preferred looking human-perfect over getting their paws muddy or looking a little bad. Her skin routine could be worth millions, for sure.
“Your friend is so funny,” she added.
“Yeah, he is such a joker,” I lied, giving Nate a quick side-eye. That wasn’t true. Nate was many things, but a joker wasn’t one of them. Was she flirting with him? It seemed she was oblivious to the fact that he was gay.
