Alpha’s Blood Mate
As we headed home, a voice in my head, one that wasn't my wolf this time, began to think I might be moving toward something deeper than just liking him.
The drive back was a mix of happy and sad, but we kept it fun regardless. We pulled over at a gas station halfway through Georgia and picked up enough snacks, sweets, and drinks to put a whole class of kids into a sugar crash. We shared our favorite tracks and listened to a good chunk of the first Harry Potter audiobook. It felt like a wonderful dream I never wanted to wake up from.
