The Roommate Book Pdf の小説・ストーリー

Silence fell on the entire hall, and for another minute, he just watched me, his eyes cold. Suddenly, he took a step towards me, and it took every bit of courage I had to not move away. I looked up to him, my chest heaving hard, my heart pounding so hard I felt faint. "Why do you want to be my roommate?" His voice was low, his eyes holding mine. "I need a place to sleep." "The library befits you. You think I let just anyone in my room?"

Rachel answered patiently, never rushing. We followed Rachel to the dormitory. A modern building with private rooms. "You're in room 214," Rachel said. "Your roommate is Sophie. She's from Wisconsin. Really nice. You'll like her." "Does everyone have roommates?" "First years do. It helps with the transition. You'll have your own room next year if you want." We climbed the stairs to the second floor. Rachel knocked on room 214. Voices murmured inside. Then footsteps. A girl with red hair and freckles opened the door. She wore ripped jeans and a band t-shirt.

I get to my dorm room and quietly open the door, thankfully my roommate is sleeping, and I sit at my desk and open up my law book to study but before I know it, sleep catches up to me once more. “Audrey! Audrey!!” I hear my roommate yell. My roommate’s name is Karen, and it suits her well. She has blonde hair and it’s cut short. Sometimes I think she gets the Karen cut on purpose. Either way, she drives me crazy, and I am not her biggest fan, but she keeps to herself in our tiny dorm room and that gives me the freedom to do what pays for me to have a better life soon.

"Who's this?" The little red head dipped under his chin, and reached up to smack his arm with vengeance. It was cute, that she thought she was scary, and he simply waited for her to introduce him. Curious what she would say. "This is Jackson, he's our new roommate, Randy invited him." She said it simply, and Jackson felt oddly disappointed. Well, that was lame. He always liked a little spice. Leaning his elbows down over her chair, with arms cradled innocently on either side of her silky strands, he cooed. "Don't let the princess fool you, I'm also her very, very, best friend. Why, we're almost inseparable now."

When I was done, hunger gnawed at me. I had left Greystone Falls in such a rush. I checked my phone to see if I had any messages or missed calls from Mom—but there was nothing. Her new behavior stung deeply. My eyes landed on a massive book on the table—it clearly belonged to my new roommate. It was so big, making it looked like a spellbook. Curious, I walked toward it and picked it up. Just as I was about to flip through the pages, the book flew from my hands.

Six of them rejected him and fourteen didn't even bother to give him a reply. "But I do miss your cooked meals." Ryu said trying to light up the mood. "I knew it. I knew that you liked those dishes that I cooked." Nato said smiling and they both laughed remembering how the taste of each dish was based on luck. "By the way, about that-." Nato suddenly changed the tone of his voice. "Hmm?" Ryu replied confused waiting for Nato to continue. "I know you don't like any roommates but I do know a person that is looking for an apartment." Nato said. "Don't even think about it. It's not going to work for me." Ryu replied. "I know you don't really like associating with other people but this is just a

“It looks good on ya. You just look like a grown up, but I know better so …” She went to kick his shin but he dodged her, swiping her bags and starting toward the spare bedroom upstairs. “Can’t I stay downstairs?” Lucas stopped on the first step and looked back over his shoulder. “Nah, I have a roommate.” Delaney gave him three lazy blinks and looked around. “You what?” He shrugged his shoulders like it wasn’t a big deal. “It’ll be fine, swear.”

•.• Skylar •.• “I’m Room 16,” Harper said, staring at her phone. “Queens Hall.” She looked up at me. The school had sent out details of students’ dorm rooms and every other vital piece of information through email. “What room are you?” she asked, and I pursed my lips, staring down at my phone. “Room 17…” I was interrupted when Harper shrieked and threw her arms around me. “Our rooms will be right next to each other!” she grinned, and I cocked my head to the side.

“Yeah.” He waits. He wants me to choose to tell him. So I do. “You probably got his contact info off I*******m,” I accuse and he chuckles. “I did, fortunately enough he responds to dms of guys who look exactly like you and could probably be your brother.” I sigh and continue “He’s my roommate,” I say, voice quieter. “And my friend and something more. Something I still don’t know how to name because it feels like it’s more than me.”

No answer. She shrugged and started carrying boxes into the smaller bedroom on the left. The roommate was supposed to be some reclusive guy who worked nights. She had not even seen a photo. As long as he was not a creep, she did not care. She needed cheap rent more than peace of mind right now.
