I looked at Wyatt, who was appraising me with narrowed eyes. “What? She forgets I can smell her all over the books and I know what ones are naughty, because well ya know,” I leaned over and tossed him a book from the pile. I had started reading the backs of things so I purposely incorporated a little spice in her life. He looked at the title, then skimmed the back of the book, it was some mafia romance. His brows raised, I shrugged.

I say and snatch the book away. Vincent adjusts his glasses and grins. "Seriously? You fill your head with this...garbage?" "It's not garbage! You just don't have a romantic bone in your body." I glare in protest. "Pfft...this is not romantic. This is just some lewd fantasy of women who don't get fucked enough." He leans closer to me. "But you don't have to worry about that, do you? Because you get plenty of that from me," he says huskily.

"Tell me about the book you were reading. What is it about?" P**n. Flushing, I bite my lip "It's a romantic story" and by romance, I mean a girl getting railed by three men at once. They were mostly novels, and a little gasp fled my lips when I saw my favorite dark romance series, sitting on the shelf. The Ryan Rule by Sadie Kincaid. I loved the four books of that series so much, and although I’ve read them all, I wouldn’t mind re-reading them again. I didn’t have the money to purchase the books so I borrowed from a schoolmate. But now they were here.

"Whatever happened to love each other first then... then doing the deed after. Is everyone after physical contact only these days? What about getting to know each other first? Chivalry? Romantic date?" I sighed and stopped spinning, facing my laptop and visiting a bookstore's site to see what books sell. Ah, of course, my book wouldn't be in the top 10, and I didn't hope so; what's staring back at me is the top 10 best-selling books for the week, where five of ten are Erotic Romance books. "And I thought my company wouldn't be like other companies who are after profit; I was wrong. Then again, business is business."

The Male lead is unhinged and a total red flag. He reminds me of you.” “So I am unhinged and a total red flag?” He asked, leaning towards me.
