"You don't strike me as the romance type." I looked at her intently. "Is it one of those raunchy books with shirtless men carrying scabbards on the cover."

She is smiling like she found something that just made her day. “What’s with the books?” Romy bounced onto the bed, “First, the romance book section in your library is awesome. We totally need to check it out together. Second, I got these pack law books. These are the first two of four.” I smiled. Of course, she had already gone to the library. Her weapon is her mind and sharp tongue. She uses them well, too. “Did you find something interesting?”

For a funny book, I chose a book on types of love language and how to communicate with your partner. By the time Piercy was done, I was sitting by the fire, reading the dark romance book. I felt him hesitate before I looked up. Something was swimming in his eyes before I felt all the desire to run through him. Seeing me in this spot was really triggering a sexual response from him. “Ready?” He asked, sitting down. “I am.” He sat down beside me. Hiding my books, he nodded. “Funny first.” “Okay.” He smiled at me. “One… two… three.” He put his book on my lap and I put his. The book on my lap was about how to organize a party.

But I didn't get a chance to call it out when she continued . “I stumbled upon this book the other day. By mistake, obviously. I thought it was a theological study on ‘Fellowship,’ but it was actually this incredibly sappy romance story about two childhood best friends who fall in love after they made a promise to marry each other if they were still single by thirty.” She let out what sounded like a nervous, high-pitched giggle. “They were very scandalous scenes in the book, Leon,” Rose murmured in a low voice. “Their…sexual escapades were so vividly described I couldn't stop blushing, but I couldn't stop reading either.” She laughed again.

ARDEN "You can find her there and finally get laid. You've been so grumpy this whole fücking week." Jiro smirked, retreating to his room. "What are you reading?" She showed him the cover. "A romance novel." He looked offended. "You're reading another man's romance?" She burst into laughter. "It's fictional." "Still unacceptable." He gently took the book away. "Excuse me!" "You have a real husband." She laughed so hard she nearly fell off the bed.

It’s a romance book with a half-naked man on the cover, a girl in a skimpy dress, and a wolf in the background titled ‘Taming the Alpha. He smirks as he passes it back to me, “Enjoy your reading, Elyria. I look forward to hearing your thoughts.” Conrad is shaking with the urge to laugh as he stands behind Atlas and Dahlia smacks his arm in annoyance. I scurry away, ready to leave the embarrassment behind. I rush to my bedroom instead of going to the office. I shake my head in frustration. Literally, I could’ve grabbed any other freaking book. Of course, I pick the one that screams sex!
