“Mom, what do I do? How am I supposed to choose between Dante and every child in the world?” Sarah Miller stepped forward. She didn’t even glance at June—her eyes were fixed on the purple pit. “You don’t have to choose, June. Just check the books.” She yanked out the Golden Book and skipped past the recipes, all the way to the back. The pages there were full of numbers and boring rules. “Gabe wasn’t just a baker,” Sarah said, her voice ringing out. “He was a businessman. He kept every receipt.” She hurled the book into the purple oil.

Ruby peeked up at him with cautious eyes. Gamma’s tone softened. “You must be brave, little one. Your mommy is a warrior, right?” Ruby nodded. “Then we’ll bring her home. But you need to be strong for her.” Ruby gave a small smile and nodded again. " Call me grandpa! Ruby. I am your Mommy's Papa!" " Grandpa!" She said in her tiny voice. Gamma Celeriac smiled and called for one of the omegas to take Ruby to a guest room and provide her with something to eat. I watched her leave with a heavy heart, then followed Gamma outside, toward the edge of the sacred woods.

It contained a garden that bloomed throughout all four seasons—one that she had personally grown and tended to. Grandpa had promised that he'd give it to me as a wedding gift. And yet, they dared to set their sights on it? Michael insisted, "That villa is empty anyway, and Tally likes her peace and quiet. She's just borrowing it from you—it's not like you won't get it back." A scoff of disbelief escaped me. He was but a stray our family picked up, and yet he was brazenly coveting our property. "Serene Grove was my mother's heart. Let's see which of you dares to touch it!"

ANYA: You opened it for just millisecond LOGAN: Well, it was in the page that Feinheim is the home of all the gems. ANYA: If Feinheim is the home of all gems, does it mean this gem is a run-away gem? (laughs at her own joke) LOGAN: or could it be Feinheim is experiencing some kind of...you know...disbalance (Laughs at the incorrect prefix) ANYA: Could it be that is where the baddies are? LOGAN: Maybe, maybe not. We'll have to get there first before getting any clue ?? LISA'S VOICE: Anya!!

Although not how I intended, the game just began. I pulled two bottles of beer from the fridge and handed them both to Alpha Drake. He asked why two and I told him he would just need another soon. He chuckled again. The sound of his laughter made something stir in the pit of my stomach and as much as I hate to admit it I could feel moisture pooling between my thighs. I had to shut that down immediately. I can’t hurt him if he is in control. My brother called me through our mind link, all wolves have the ability to mind link with their pack. Bo was cancelling. He simply stated something had come up. Oh boy I was in trouble now, or maybe Drake was. I asked if he felt about chilling at the pool

Emerald Gardens might not be as luxurious as Hampton Hills, but it was still one of the most expensive subdivisions in the city. She glanced at James, the little mandrill. As a de Lancy, he was a rich kid. Richard Simmons, if he lived in Emerald Gardens, then he must be a member of the Simmons Family who was the king of the entertainment industry in Altair. Then, an idea hit her. “James, what’s the name of the second best minion?” “Yann Bouchard,” he answered, and something clicked in her brain. “Bouchard as in Bouchard Medical City?” she asked, and James nodded.

"Okay, Mommy!" Maxim is six years old but instead of playing like what other kids do, he prefers reading books, studying, and playing games for smart teens. He's young yet we saw something unusual in him for a six year old kid. He is smart and quick to understand about things. Sometimes I saw him reading a book about businesses. I don't know who he got it from but I think it was from Angelo. He always tolerate him. Sometimes I invited him to play with toys for kids. He played with me but I saw that he was really not interested in those. He is also good at talking, not like others who stutter or speak a little slowly. He really learned faster.

Everyone was talking about a prophecy and he knew nothing about it. Rosalie heard the book thumping against the wall and woke up panicked. She panicked more when Asrar wasn’t beside her. She threw off the sheets and raced out to the shared living space. She knew Ryan and Avalon where in a room beside them. Exiting the room she didn’t see Asrar anywhere which worried her. She did however see the book on the floor. Quietly walking over she lifted it and frowned. This book belonged to her grandmother. She remembered her reading it to her. ‘Dragons Gem.’ Was the ancient text on the cover. It was an old leather cased book that had gotten soft over the years. Her Grandma had made a special cover t

Bastet jumped up in her lap and lay down as always. “Where do you need to go?” Corbin asked. “The Mirror River Pack,” Ember answered. “Easy enough,” he said with a nod. Ember turned to me and said, “Don’t worry about going through the portal. You won’t get sick and nothing bad will happen to you. I promise.” I nodded my head and took a deep breath. There’s a first time for everything and this would be a first. To say I was nervous would be an understatement. I listened as Corbin and his soulmate Margot chanted together, “aperta.”
