A Castle of Secrets
Elliot reaches his hand out to me, and I happily accept, pulling myself up in his grip.
As we approached the dining hall, Elliot wrapped a possessive arm around me. The heat from his hand gripping my waist spread warmth through my entire body. He tensed for a moment, stopping just before entering, “Are you okay?” My voice came out as a breathy whisper.
Elliot cleared his throat, “Yeah. Sorry,” he blinked a few times, but I narrowed my eyes, “Liar.”
Gwen appeared before us looking exceptionally done up for someone who should have been baking all day, “Welcome,” she smiled, her chocolate eyes staring straight at Elliot, “Looking handsome as always, El.”
