-Please, sir, I didn't know they would be there, the stranger pleads. Just as I expect Damon to say something, he shoots the man in the leg. A sound that seems to come from hell escapes his mouth in the form of a laugh. The stranger's groans barely audible, drowned out by Damon's hysterical laughter. I want to intervene, but I feel incapable of making a move. All the rumors were true; Damon Black is a monster, and I need to get away from him. -Miss, what are you doing here?

I glanced down at myself and groaned. "I truly am a monster…Grayson will never love me," I mumbled sadly and decided I needed to run away so he didn't see me like this. I stopped following his scent and spotted a deer in between the trees. I started stalking the animal and my vision became tunneled as I focused on the deer. I lowered myself to pounce and in one swift movement, I jumped on the deer, burying my claws and fangs. I tore off chunks of flesh as its blood poured down my throat. The deer stopped struggling as I continued draining its life away. Tears were falling down my cheeks at the monster I'd become. I rolled the carcass off and sat down in the grass and wept.

The creature’s mouth, filled with uneven yellow teeth, oozed countless strange black fluids emitting a foul, putrid odor. Another level-eight pinnacle stage monster had emerged—a Glutton. Gluttons, known for their large bellies, relied on constant feeding to maintain their strength. And their bellies secreted a corrosive slime, their most potent weapon. The simultaneous appearance of two level-eight pinnacle stage monsters added to the intrigue. Observing this, Adrian smirked. "You two want to attack me together? Two aren't enough. Bring out your stronger companions, if you have any. I'll handle them all at once."

I needed to feed my monsters or there would be consequences. “Hi, handsome. Would you like some company?” I turned and saw an attractive blonde standing next to me. Perfect. I thought to myself. She wasn’t my usual but she would do. So I started my game again. Within thirty minutes she was walking out the door with me. We walked over to my car and I held the door as she climbed in. I smiled to myself as I climbed into the car and drove her to her death. This wasn’t how I wanted the night to end at least not with this woman but it would hold off my demons for now.

A monster? The moment we step onto the grounds, the smell hits. It's the smell of copper and rot and something disgusting. My stomach lurches. Kira swears under her breath. My hand rests on my stomach, my palm flattening over my bump on instinct. 'Please,' I think desperately. 'Please be okay.‘
