I fold my legs beneath me, and bring out my phone. A book can keep my awake so I surf the internet. Quickly I see a lot of fantasy books, but I’ve never really gravitated towards those. I don’t know what pushes me though. Maybe I’m just tired of being oblivious or my mother’s thesis, or the strange recurrences, I click on the first book I see and buy it. It takes only a second. I scroll past the forward and settle on the first chapter.

The moment I did, the darkness was filled with them. Finn’s rough thumb against my cheek. Kelly’s massive frame looming over me. “Nova...” I could hear them in the hiss of the steam, their voices merging into a dark, forbidden demand. In my mind, the fantasy bloomed, violent and intoxicating. A soft, broken moan escaped my lips. My hand slid down my wet belly, my fingers parting my aching folds and sliding straight into the slick, dripping heat of my own desire. I was soaking wet, leaking heavily.

Her eyes narrowing suspiciously, she picked up the book again and looked at the blurb once more. "The story of a half-blood dragon who lived unloved, unwanted and destined to fall under the weight of her own power." Fru almost laughed. Why does this sound like her series of applications to different guilds. Tragedies were not her taste because she had seen enough of it in her life. "Give me a heroine who marches through worlds and conquer hehehe" Fru smirked at her own imagination. "It looks interesting though, what's one more tragedy to the list" she said that but she didn't want to admit her inability to resist reading the book.

I moved her hand, still on my leg, further toward the resolution of her difficulty. She looked straight at me, into me, understanding me. I really was loving those green eyes in that pale face, those big black pupils. What if the Wizard had turned out to be real and Dorothy had just gone down on him first chance, stayed in Oz instead of going back to miserable Kansas? Much better ending, don't you think? "You are wicked!" At last she cracked a real smile. "You actually think that I would--" tilting her head, a nice move that exposed more Carrera.

I don't have any pending assignments right now, so I thought I'd read a story on the Good Novel app first. Ever since I couldn't buy physical books anymore, I started reading different stories about fantasy and romance on this app. At least I'm having fun, especially when I'm stressed out over school work and other stuff. I'm reading Miss Thinz's story Her Ruthless Alpha because I love Erdy and Zerra's story. I hope I can find a man like Erdy. They're not just handsome and rich, but they're also really loving and caring. But those kinds of men can only exist in novels.

I had so much time on my hands I could read every one of these books. I found three that sounded interesting then went to the cafe for a watermelon lemon water, I never heard of a drink like that before. I found a nice big chair on the outside patio and opened my first book. It immediately pulled me into the story. It was an action adventure that followed the life of a strong Beta devoted to his pack. He had to marry a fairy to bring more protection to his people. This book said fairies had magic that seeped out of their pores, making any submit to their wishes. It was a fictional tale so I wasn't sure if anything was true, but it was an exciting adventure.

My expectations of hefty magic tomes full of spells were quickly dashed. Laney’s idea of books was limited to fairy tales about princesses and knights and, of course, magic. Not exactly what I had in mind. As far as she was concerned, if it didn’t interest her, it didn’t exist. “This one’s really good,” she informed me, holding up a thin novel called Loved By Two Dragons. “He’s a dragon, but he’s also a handsome boy. But his brother’s even more handsome, and he’s an even bigger dragon!”

Finally, little by little, they ended up together. This is an undeniably good story. Lei’s favorite genre has always been fantasy. He especially like those fantasy novels where he can enjoy the process of the character's growth, chapter by chapter. It gives him the feeling of being with the main character, venturing the danger and growing along with him. Lei smiled in satisfaction. As he was about to read the first chapter, something inexplicably came to his mind. He frowned, scrutinizing the book closely. He began to read the synopsis again from the beginning. Upon reading it twice, he suddenly fell into a deep thought.

Wenzou glanced to Winastra who gave her a disapproving look. Wenzou spoke, “I guess that was wrong of me.” Winastra sighed and cuddled her head down onto her pillow tiredly, “Yes and no I suppose. Try to remember how it is that you would like to be treated and treat others accordingly. It is a good rule to live by.” “More thoughts from your big book?” Winastra nodded and was soon asleep. Wenzou was not tired though. Going to the shelf she pulled a big black book that had seen much wear down off the shelf. It was hard for her to read the words, but lighting a candle she did so just the same.
