The Ledger Of Cinder And Silk

The Ledger Of Cinder And Silk

Elara whispered, her heart hammering against her ribs. She pointed to the lead rider on the path. He wore a silver cloak and carried a spear that glowed with dark magic. "That’s the High Inquisitor," Elara said. "They aren't here to arrest us, Korth. They brought "The Silence," the spell that erases memories. Korth stepped out, his eyes turning back into slits. "They want to erase the King's death from everyone's minds." "No," a weak voice said from Korth's shoulder. Joren had opened his eyes. He looked at the soldiers below and smiled a bloody, terrifying smile. "They aren't here for me. They’re here because they already found the Crown of Ash."

The Moon's Mercy: Throne of Ashes

The Moon's Mercy: Throne of Ashes

The space where they dump the text when the entire manuscript fails. Lord Garrett’s hands were still locked into her white hair, his iron grip unyielding even as his own obsidian armor was systematically crushed into a fine, glittering gray ash by the descending stone ledgers. His face was unrecognizable, a mask of cracked porcelain and silver arbiter grease, but his pupil-less eyes still burned with the absolute, terrifying zeal of a bureaucrat who had successfully balanced a dying ledger with blood.

Cursed Ugly Mate: Reborn for Vengeance

Cursed Ugly Mate: Reborn for Vengeance

Leah I hesitated, then lifted the lid. Inside lay a gown—black as midnight, woven from something impossibly fine. Tiny moonstones were stitched into the fabric, catching the light in soft, silvery pulses. I stared. “This is…” “Moon-goddess silk,” he said, shaking it out and holding it up to me. The material shimmered against my skin in the mirror. His long fingers traced the neckline idly—deliberately. “Light protection against wolfsbane. Thought you might need it tonight.”

HE REJECTED ME, SO I TOOK HIS CROWN

HE REJECTED ME, SO I TOOK HIS CROWN

Moving with practiced discretion, he slipped his hand into the folds of my silk robe, pressing a fresh, chilled glass vial into my palm. “Drink it before the ink dries,” Silas murmured, his breath barely brushing my ear. “Ensure you survive the day.” “Thank you,” I breathed, quickly concealing the icy vial in my sleeve. The head tailor stepped into my line of sight, proudly holding up the ceremonial gown. It was a stunning, structured masterpiece of midnight-black silk, woven with real silver thread that mimicked the phases of the moon along the heavy hemline. The bodice was reinforced with delicate, flexible chainmail plating.

Eternal Embers

Eternal Embers

Inside was a velvet-wrapped ledger bound in faded red leather. The Ember Grimoire. It was a chronicle—half memoir, half confession—written in delicate script by Eleanor Montrose. Isabelle’s missing ancestor. “The flame is a memory. A power buried in blood and bone. The Keepers are not chosen, they are awakened. And the price of awakening is always a life.” Isabelle’s heart pounded. She turned the pages faster, until a symbol caught her eye: the intertwined keys. And below it, scrawled in desperate ink:

Burned by My Ex, Reborn as His King's Mate

Burned by My Ex, Reborn as His King's Mate

I asked, trying to divert my thoughts from what had almost happened in the room. "A welcome gift!" Callista handed me the box enthusiastically. "Come on, open it!" I carefully unwrapped it and found an emerald green silk scarf with beautiful silver ornaments at the ends—the emblem of the Nightveil Pack, a wolf howling under the moon. "Callista, this... is so beautiful," I whispered, running my fingers over the soft silk. "Do you like it? I had it specially made to match your favorite color," she said, squeezing my hand warmly. "Oh, and there's something I want to ask you!"

Likaya's Wolves: The Suha Marshes

Likaya's Wolves: The Suha Marshes

He looked at Likaya for a confirmation before he opened it, her words were clear. He flips the latch, and immediately. A stench enters his nose. By now he had grown familiar with the smell, the grasping musk mixed with the steady presence of decay and rot. The interior was filled with fungi. Their colors were black as old blood while others carried a redness no different from a fresh spill. They pulsed and danced, they writhed and twisted. And in the center of the box was a scroll of bright brown metal paper. Covered in ancient runes, bristling with a strange light that was wreathed in a mixture of wild colors. He knew what it was, in fact he heard it speak to him. “I am Keeper of Rot” Said

Shattered By The Alpha

Shattered By The Alpha

And laid right beside it, wrapped in silk, is a gown. I reach out, my scarred fingertips brushing the fabric. It isn't the deep, muted forest green of Silvercrest. It isn't the earthy, rich brown of Downridge. It’s silk woven from threads the color of molten gold and liquid amber—the color of a midday sun breaking over a frozen peaks. "He managed to get it past the primary scanners," I whisper, a tear finally cutting through the dust on my cheek.

The Betas Keeper

The Betas Keeper

I needed this release from all the constant stress on my mind. "Olivia where are you?" Jason questioned through the link. "East of the boarders." "Running?" "Yep, been slacking in training." "Right. We have guests, come back to the pack house." Before I could ask who he cut the link. I ran a hand through my sweaty hair before looking down at what I was wearing. I wore biker shorts and a black sports bra. I groaned, not appropriate to greet guests but will have to do. I started running towards the direction of the pack house enjoying the feeling of the fresh air flowing through me. My hair going wild as I closed my eyes smiling.

Once Upon a Full Moon

Once Upon a Full Moon

I say. My Beta looks surprised, but he doesn’t argue with me. He nods and leaves me alone with Jaeger. “What can I do?” he asks softly. I shake my head, turn around, and go back to my bedroom. I leave Kaiya on the bed while I take a quick shower and dress in my mourning attire. When I’m done, Griffin knocks and enters with a wispy white cloth. “It’s all I could find,” he says. “It will do.” I lean over her cold, cruelly unmoving body, and rest my lips on her brow, kissing her one last time.

Awesome story! The characters are great! I love Kaiya's stubbornness and strong aura. She really does compliment Bowden well. I can't wait for more updates. Especially, with what is going on in the catacombs.... that is definitely a real mystery....

I really enjoyed this book - it’s like unraveling a series of presents - the story telling is amazing, the FL and ML are both strong, intelligent and - a rarity in most of this kind of novels - communicate to each other! No unnecessary drama, no drawing on - congratulations to the author!
